Bellower Issue 7 content - Armies of the Stronghold

Another request gents!   

Please cast your nominations for which army you'd like displayed in the 'Armies of the Stronghold' article in the upcoming issue of the Bellower.

An interview with the army creator will be required as well which will basically be a write up entailing the details of the army, inspiration etc.

Once again if you could post links/nick names that would be greatly appreciated.

I would say RJ_Payne with his painthammer Gnoblog.  His army is recently painted and has been involved in recent battles as well as about to get stuck into a tournament.  Not only that the army is amazing in it's quality and uniqueness and is an inspiration to many.  He also currently has some pics on the GW flicker pool as well.

Frankly a really good army to show for the restart of the bellower.  I'm sure others would easily agree with me here.

It's easy for newer members to have missed some of the great armies built in the past. Like all things people move on or start new armies, move to other forums etc.

One of the best "older" armies that is still around that people might have missed by not reading a gnoblog from the start is......(and I know your going to hate this Jimmy)

 your Mcthunderguts (think that's what they were called) clan. It was the first tartan esq ogre army I had seen and I swear it was one of the best and well executed and painted armies I have seen. Do not underestimate just how good you are at painting and how good this army looks.

Whilst there is no doubt that the Orcogres are of an exceptional quality and high standard; for a pure "ogre" army I would say this is one of the best I have seen.

Well, as for themed armies, RJ-Payne's Orcgres are definitely some of the best! The army would be a good example of "creative interpretations of Ogres".

We also have access to some good pirate themed armies in the forums, and there's also the Rhinogres, which is another awesome conversion army!

It's easy for newer members to have missed some of the great armies built in the past. Like all things people move on or start new armies, move to other forums etc.

I'd love to bring them back, too, to showcase their armies (if they still have them...), but it'd also be good to showcase some of the more currently active members, so that new players could get in touch with them for ideas, tips, advice, etc. ... Besides, it'd probably be difficult contacting some of those members that haven't posted in the past couple years or so
