Hi there!

Long story short:

Your lords and heroes seem ok overall. Mayby take firebelly instead of butcher, unless you really want to run lvl 2 death, beasts or heavens for some reason. For your list, I would personally take the firebelly with scroll & ring, or with HH.

I never play gruts, but cant really say it wont "work". You could your SM in IG's also..mayby add few more bodies there.

Take ME's and make them scout if your only taking 3. Unit of 4 MF or more really need dragonhide banner. You should really (must) take 2-3 single sabres too. Make these changes to your special, even if it means cutting all leadies off.

Playing TT is fluffy and fun, but making it pay back its points is really hard. I would take leadies for that 250p if needed to be competetive...and I even have on TT myself.

Ironblaster will make a difference as long as it wont missfire.

That's a shame that the thundertusk isn't worth it as I really like the model. I would of thought giving enemies ASL would of made it worth it. I will drop the butcher for a firebelly. Should I drop the mourfang and continue to bulk out my core? I was going to run them to harass but with the saberfangs running around now I don't need the to fill that roll anymore
Hey the list looks good! :)
Just a few pointers and changes I would make if I was running a list like this.
First off I run a SM - Gruts combo and its AWESOME! Level 7 casting YES PLEASE ;)
Ok now that's over I would drop a Crown of command on him and stick him in your guts unit making them stubborn. He is T5 W5, Regenerating wounds every cast! Also if you roll on average on the maw lore you will end up with tooth cracker and/or guts. Making him T6! 4++!
For ogres I feel the stubborn crown is a must unless you are character heavy running fully defensive in a bus formation. Then you can deny a whole lot of CR and dish out a bucket load.
Level two firebelly is a good choice :) I'd prefer to have him over a butcher :) As for the Ring I'd stick with a dispel scroll. You will roll two spells on fire lore, if you get 1 good 1 bad, you trade it for fireball anyway.
The Bruiser, I don't think you can have Big names and a magic standard since the big name comes from your magic point allotment which you are denied because of the magic banner. A way to get around this is give the Iron gut unit the standard ;) no points changing just swapping things places :)

That is a mighty unit of iron guts my friend :) Id be tempted to drop those leadies and add in 4 more ;) make that a hoard of guts since you are going that way already. Means you get 2 supporting ranks instead of 1!
Now imagine 3 ranks of S6 (or 7 with buffs) T5 4++ ogre goodness :) People will refuse to play with you lmao. See battle report - http://www.ogrestronghold.com/forum/index.php?topic=26804.msg353187#msg353187
The MFC don't "need" the standard they are plenty killy on their own :) however I would run them with Iron fists instead and take full advantage of being able to parry while mounted and also the 2+ armour save!
Its personal taste, but I wouldn't tend to add it :)
Leadies are hit and miss... literally ;) I love them, but when I need them they never perform. Then when I hit a unit because its just there and everything else is in combat I roll 20+ hits and wounds lol
Now on to man eaters... I love them, I like the look of them, their rules are awesome, they are reasonably priced (almost ;)) They have just never done anything for me :(
Ive tried pretty much every combo, but I just cant make them work. Its just the way I use them :) they are a great choice, ask any ogre player. But it comes down to play style.

So to summarise my personal opinions -
Bruiser - Stick armour of destiny on him, put the standard in the guts.
SM - stick in crown of command
FB - drop GW and Dispel Scroll over ring
Guts - Bulk up to 18, move discipline standard to here.
Leadies - Either drop these or the Man eaters for more guts
MFC - GOOOOOOD :)
Man Eaters - Id prefer to drop these, 3 at this points level will be sufficiently out pointed to make them not worth their while. Where as the leadies can at least still clear enemy chaff!
Iron Blaster - mmmmmmmm... Go shoot some Skaven! They rank up nicely in their formations lol

Youre probably right about the big name on the bruiser since I rarely write up lists by hand anymore so I don't look at the book while doing lists anymore (army builders made me lazy) lol
Lol :)
Don't worry I always do it by the book... and make plenty mistakes lol
The best piece of advice I can give you is - Think about the way you play! do you run in and smash face with minimal tactics? or are you a master tactician that wants to own the battle field and make your opponents choices for him?
The hoard list is a VERY effective one. You might be tempted to stick a Rune Maw banner in there for some magic protection.
The MMU (multiple Medium Units) is again an effective build (not as good as the hoard) but it has its perks. We can run small units and still be Very tough. Battle report - http://www.ogrestronghold.com/forum/index.php?topic=26809.0;topicseen

Very last question in the FAQ. Bruiser can take a single big name with a magic banner.
Those who live by the sword, get shot by those who don't.

Thank you very much, I was not aware of that :)

However I still don't run magical banners on my BsB ;) :P

bump in the hopes someone comes and looks at my modified list
Has much changed?

why not give that banner of discipline to your Iron guts and give your BsB some protection???

Personally I wouldn't bother with the Crown of Command on the Firebelly or the Standard of Discipline on the Bruiser

I would at least consider a Dispel Scroll and maybe the Hellheart in the list, and then I would add the Crown of Command to the Bruiser

Your Irongut is a strange size. With the characters it's not even a full horde. I would consider dropping them to 10 and stick your SM and BSB in there. With Full Command in 4x3 you can your BSB with Crown safely sat in the 2nd Rank.

I would then add another Bull and stick your firebelly in the other unit.

Defo considering Standard of Discipline for either the Ironguts of even the Mournfang, I would also consider the Banner of Eternal Flame.

I like the Thundertusk and there has been times where is helped turn combats my way, the chances are it won't get it's point back by itself, but it might help other units get it's points back.

Also consider Sabretusks for more deployment drops
