I played a game last night to test our lists before submitting them to the GT TO.
Lists
My list:
http://www.ogrestronghold.com/forum/index.php?topic=29131.0
His list:
Lv4 Death, 1+/5++, Nurgle, CoC, Flame Breath, Dscroll
BSB on Disc, 1+/3++, Tzeentch, Third Eye
10 Slaanesh Marauders and 2 packs of 5 Warhounds.
20 Warriors of Chaos, Nurgle, Halberds, Discipline, deployed 7 wide
9 Chaos Trolls
9 Chaos Ogres, Nurgle, GW
2 Hell Cannons
Scenario
The Scenario is Watchtower but no watchtower, just an objective marker.
Deployment
There's a building to my left flank so I anchor my line to it. He deploys pretty centrally to the objective, warriors in the middle, flanked by chaos ogres and trolls, flanked by hell cannons. Maneaters scout on far left, hidden by building. I put all my gnoblars on the back of the board and they do nothing the rest of the game, as intended.
First Turn
Warriors go first. No charges. He shuffles up slowly. Hell cannon 1 scatters off main block. Hell cannon 2 finds its mark and crushes the HH caddie who failed his Look Out, Sir! It also kills two ogres. Nothing significant happens in magic. No combat.
MEs charge warhounds on left flank. Ogres shuffle up slowly, just in range to charge. Sabretusks chaff the trolls and ogres. I get a purple sun off in magic and it runs through the Chaos Trolls, only killing 4/6 ending up behind the right flank hell cannon. I get off Leech and Caress on his caster but no wounds. Both ironblasters misfire, one losing it's cannon. Maneaters kill the dogs but not before they hit and wound with their 3 attacks, killing an ogre.
Turn two
BSB charges chaffing cat and warhounds charge the other. Chaos line backs up a little bit (he regretted that). Warhounds chaff my MFC. He gets a purple sun off which I let go because it needed an 8+ to hit me and I figured I'd save my scroll (I'm a gamblin' man). He rolls a 10, 5 ogres dead leaving the main unit with 2 ironguts and 2 characters. Hell cannon 1 scatters off again, the other finds its mark on the MFC, killing one and causing a wound.
Maneaters charge the left hell cannon. MFC charge the warhounds. Cannon-less ironblaster charges the warriors in the flank, hoping to pin them there for a while (mistake in hindsight). Nothing happens in magic but he still doesn't dispel the vortex by his cannon which scatters into it and eats the right cannon. Some luck! Remaining cannon hits the chaos ogres but fails to wound. Maneaters do their thing and put something like, 12-14 wounds on the hell cannon of which it takes 2 or 3... then kills an ogre in return. Ironblaster whiffs but holds against the warriors (expected).
Turn three
Still no major charges or advances. Chaos ogres turn to face maneaters. Trolls charge the ironblaster's flank to help out the warriors. He throws purple sun again but I dispel it. No shooting. Maneaters finish off the hell cannon and reform to face the chaos ogres (regret that, since they were in no condition to take em on alone). Ironblaster goes down to trolls.
I just kinda keep sitting there, ready to pounce on the objective. I attempt a swift reform with the maneaters but fail both Ld checks. One last cat jumps in the way of his warriors and trolls (they were really close together). I throw 5 dice at Purple Sun but fail to meet casting value. Ironblaster kills 2 chaos ogres. Maneaters fire point blank and cause 1 wound (shouldn't have been able to shoot after reforming, live and learn).
Turn four
Chaos ogres charge maneaters who stand and shoot, causing no wounds. BSB charges MFC hoping to keep them off the objective. Warriors and trolls charge sabretusk which swings the warriors onto the objective but puts their flank to my MFC. No magic or shooting. Chaos ogres annihilate the maneaters. BSB fails to hurt the MFC who in return fail to hurt him but then I say F' it, use the banner, which somehow causes 2 wounds, snake-eyes on armor, 2 and 1 on ward save, 1 on reroll. The mighty unkillable BSB goes down to 2 S3 wounds!
MFC charge the warriors in the flank hoping he'll fail his break check with no BSB around. Either way, it allows me to contest the objective. I throw a purple sun at the remaining 6 chaos ogres, 2 survive. I try death sniping them, no luck, no points. MFC shred the warriors but CoC has them stubborn (not a surprise) and they pass their break check.
Conclusion
At 15 minutes left in time, we called it. Victory points were within 20, objective contested, we each scored a line-breaker objective, and each failed a different objective (kill general, I think).
5-5 draw. We both played well and didn't make any huge mistakes, just a few minor ones that we reflected on afterward. I plan to revise my list slightly. We play each other so often that I'm not surprised we drew.
Thanks for reading!

). I've personally never been a fan of the death-SM, given my proclivity for rolling misfires (something you REALLY don't want to do with Purple Sun!), but nice to see it worked out for you.
