How can I model fire?

Hi everyone. I want to make fire... I'm just wondering if anyone has done this or has a relatively simple method they use. Would hopefully feature on a firebelly conversion in some way.

Depends on the size of fire, but here's a couple of ideas.

Make a ball of green stuff, attach to model, make a vague fire shape, use tweezers to pull up the flames of the fire

I did a fire on my hunter by building up a water effects medium the I highlighted in flame colours as I built up the layers

Thanks Warlordsteve. Both are great suggestions Your hunter looks phenomenal. The fire is a cool addition, really gives him a loner survival expert vibe.
