Monthly Painting Challenge - June 2013

I don't think I am gonna make my pledge, I've half done the Ironblaster and I've been painting a maneater. Its not the character, but its equivalent to one right?
I wanted to have the Firebelly/ Slaughtermaster done, but he is waiting for some parts to finish his conversion.

sorry about the poor quality of photos, here I have finished my masked ogres and re-painted some of the bulls in the other units with either red or blue trousers to try and give them some cohesion.

Only thing left to do is;





If I can just get this guy done then (at last) I will have actually finished a pledge!

Almost done with one of the three towers but since I have a week off work, I am confident I will be able to finish the rest as well.

Shadowlord, that building looks outstanding! I really like the lycheny yellow/ green on the stone work. Have a Gnoblar for that mate. Your table will be a pleasure to play on with terrain like this.

Completed the tower (still have the alternative top to do) and I am quite pleased with the result.

Looks like a place any wizard or sorcerer would be proud to call home.

I think this is the 3rd pledge I have actually managed to finish, which for me is good (cus I am eternally slow and over-ambitious).

The giant was more work than I thought it would be....just a vast expanse of flesh. I think a belly that big needs an air-brush. None-the-less, he's done. Pictures will follow as soon as the batteries to my camera charge.....in 6 hours apparently. Doh! 

Now I am enthused at a result, I can start planning for July...so many projects to choose from.

Progress has been little slow...I got distracted by Halberdiers and another project, but here is my half painted Steam Dragon. It'll be a push for me to finish this by month end.

Didn't make it in time to pledge but gonna share a photo of my half completed Thundertusk with his own custom base anyway.  Keep going people.  Still 4 days to go :p

Wanted a more odd looking tower because the Witchfate Tor looks odd galore. The pics ain't the best but it turned out decent enough I think.

My painting pledge this month was a Stonehorn, I managed that quite early on so managed to sneak some extra hobby in too.  Here's a group shot:

I have only just got this month's challenge done!

I finished my Witchfate Tor but I am not happy with the end result so I intend to pimp it up by adding metal, verdigris and rust to a lot of features at the top (so pics will come tomorrow or tuesday when that is done).

I'm two days late in posting but I did get my pledge finished. I had to wait until late to get started to beat the heat so it was nearly midnight when I finished my last bit.

So this is my first pledge (ever!), and I'm starting this one a little late into the month, so I'm going to keep it simple and say 3 brace o' pistol maneaters.

PS. How do I get the KB size down, all I have is the phone on my camera, and the size of the pic says 388 or so, irking...

Mecha, if you want to reduce the size of your images open them in a program like Paint or Paint.NET and reduce the size of the image manually.
