Turquoise Highlight Question

What do you use to get the turquoise highlights on amour and the leadbelchers canons?

I'm guessing you're talking about Verdigris?

What I do is take some Sybarite Green (I think, not at my paint desk) add a little bit of white, blue, or green depending on your preference (how green you want it, or how blue, etc), then dilute it a lot with water until it becomes like a custom wash. Then, wash however much you want all over the metal and let it dry.

EDIT: Sorry about revising so soon, but I just remembered Dreadboi does a bit different style of verdigris in his tutorial on painting an Ogre Bull in this post: http://www.ogrestronghold.com/forum/index.php?topic=20747.0     Just scroll down a ways and you'll see where the Ironfist and sword are being painted.

Tried it out for the first time tonight.  So so results. 

In my experience, it tends to go better with bronze metal. Here's my first attempt on the gut plate. I went a little heavier then you.

I also usually start with a bronze or brown-er color.

On Ironfists, armor, weapons, etc. I usually start with Boltgun Metal/Leadbelcher, then wash with Devlan Mud/Agrax Earthshade a couple of times to make it look old, grimy and like the Ogres don't care about the condition.

Then, after the wash is dry I wash it with the verdigris mix. I wash it pretty heavily, and then use the brush to pull the wash out of certain recesses where it may have built up too much, or where I put too much on the model in the first place. Once that's dry I highlight the metal with Chainmail/Ironbreaker. Highlight things like the rivets, extreme edges that may get bumped or knocked around through everyday use (edges of blades, gutplates, etc)

I don't have pictures ATM (at work) but if I think about it later this weekend I can post some stuff.

i did my with watered down hawk turquoise and touched it up with vallejo vendigris.
