I was looking for a partner for a test game. Instead of a normal competitive game, I had something else in mind. I wanted to play an ogres vs. ogres 8th edition game using as many of the options in our book as possible on both sides. Sort of like an Ogre Kingdom White dwarf report. I'd be willing to play with either paint or battle chronicler and tailor my list to consider options not in my partner's list. Anyone interested?

Yep this sounds good especially as im going to be using ogres in a doubles tournament in a few months
Would be nice to see what works and what doesnt
In paint would suit me better. Aslong as your in no rush as i will probably only be able to log on once a day depending on work shifts etc etc

No there is no rush and paint is fine. I'd prefer between 1500-3000 points, what would suit you? Also I'd be either happy if you made a list first, so I could take a radically different build, or we could discuss how we want to split up the various unit and character selections.

sorry for my lack of posting the past week has been hectic for me my wifes 40th our wedding anniversary etc etc
I will sort out a 2500 point list tonight when i get home from work

Interestingly, a friend and I just played an ogre v ogre beatdown last night (5k each side) with the exact same purpose; to test out new combinations and learn things that we wouldn't necessarily have thought of alone. We're in the process of writing up a battle report and will post the results as soon as we're done.
EDIT: I am so sorry...I didn't check the date until afterwards.
