khorgoth_corpseheart = excellent trader!
I traded him a sizeable amount of orcs (an army box + 2 sets of BFSP night goblins and some other odds and ends). In return he was sending me a comparable sized chaos lot. From the start, I agreed to ship to him first, and after a small post office address screw up everything arrived to him on.
After that he mailed the chaos lot off. After two months, I had not received anything from the post office, and it looked like nothing was coming. Throughout this time, khorgoth and i communicated, and he said he would take the issue up with the post office if nothing showed up. He had insured the shipment just in case any issues arose. Sure enough, the chaos lot never arrived.
Within a day of asking khorgoth if we could get the claim process rolling, he told me he had started it with the post office. Within a week, it was resolved and the money was in my paypal account.
Although I never ended up getting my models (through no fault of his) I would absolutely recommend him as a trader on these boards, or anywhere else. He was honest, up front, and when an issue came up, he was very quick to resolve. All around communication was excellent, and he was very friendly. Thanks for the great service. Trade on!

ikim27 Jan 2008
I shipped the Ogre Hunter model to jason henrichs (don't remember his stronghold nick name), who lives in the US, January 7th 2008. After 20 days the model hasn't arrived yet, and he opened a controversy within paypal. I, for good realtionship, gave him the money back, 'cause I don't have a tracking number, but, this post is just to say that it takes quite a lot of time for something to arrive in the US, when shipped from Italy. MSherman, Wildcard and Corai (to name a few members who I shipped to) can confirm this.
So, to conclude this, let me say that the transaction with Jason Henrichs was not a pleasent one, so, beware people... be aware.
thanx
cheers

I would just like to make a small announcement If anyone is looking for commission sculpting services, I would sincerely like to suggest one of our fellow members here at the Stronghold I recently employed BlughTheIronMaw for a commission sculpt of the new DoC character, Ku'gath Plaguefather, and he has done an incredible job He has maintained constant contact, with regular updates, both descriptive, and photographical His price is really competitive, and the quality of his work rivals a lot of GW's own sculpts He is well worth consulting on your next sculpting project!

umm from intrest i have to ask:
what does ogre stronghold do when someone gets scammed in the gnoblar market?
Wildcard31 Dec 2008
trading rules are clear:
In order to trade Games Workshop items fairly, please note the following rules:
1. Trades must not be false, inaccurate or misleading. Hobby related trades only please.
2. Do not infringe any third party's copyright, patent, trade mark, trade secret or other proprietary rights or rights of publicity or privacy
3. Fraudulent traders or traders involved in the sale of counterfeit or stolen items will be banned on the spot.
4. Do not be in breach of any applicable laws or regulations (including, but not limited to, laws governing export control, consumer protection, unfair competition, anti-discrimination, false advertising).
5. You agree to indemnify and hold the website and its owner harmless from any claim or demand, including but not limited to reasonable legal fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your breach of this User Agreement (including the documents incorporated by reference), or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
6. This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with UK law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.
7. By agreeing to this document, you stipulate that you cannot hold the owner, website or anyone connected to it to any legal claims under any manner or circumstance, regardless of your own circumstances.
8. You agree that this service is provided free to those who use it. You are responsible for tax and any other costs arising.
Please take care when trading folks. If you're buying something from an unfamiliar member, it is recommended that you ask for photo evidence of the minis first. If you're selling some of your own minis, always ask for payment first.
We can "moderate" a little in this area, but really trading is the responsibility of the two trading parties.
Fortunatly, with a friendly and familiar little community we have here, its not often a problem and most issues are not "scamming" rather than misunderstandings.

Ok Zabo, nice try.
Here's what's really going on.
He tried to send mt 120 dollars worth of magic cards from recent sets. What I got was about 60 bucks worth of crap rares and old commons and other junk. As an act of good faith, I have sent him the cards BACK as well as the dwarfs, for nothing in return.
Zabo has not tried to contact me in a month do discuss what we should do. I was the last one to make contact, and was waiting for a reply to see if that was good for him, and he has not. So I decided to go ahead and send it today since he won't respond.
Don't try and smear me Zabo, when it was you who made this trade go afoul with false advertising. You'll be getting FREE dwarves and your cards back soon, and I'll send you the tracking number ASAP. Don't try to smear my name again.
BOOM! Hur hur hur...

dude whenever I send you a message with the words figures, cards, dwarfs, or magic, you never respond I HAVE sent you messages, you just never reply. Also I sent you what you wanted, 3000 magic cards and 145 rares, with a few hundred extras from my friends, THATS what I sent. I am just angry because you said you sent the items about, 4 times, you never have, how can I trust that you sent them now? I can only get you to talk when I go into public.

Question where do I find the pictures of the gnoblars (the little animated ones)?
Look under the smileys when you're creating a new post, you should see a [more] link there. Click on that and a little pop-up containing all the animated Ogres, Gnoblars etc will appear.

Lord Cedric09 Jan 2012
I purchased and received 2 different items from MawMuncha. He gave great communication, easy to deal business with, polite, and his packaging was spot-on sweet! The package had to go overseas and considering it was a built ironblaster and 4 leadbelchers.. not a single thing was broken, cracked or even unglued.
That's +2 and a 100% from me! Highly recommended and no worries.

Gnoblar_Herder13 Feb 2013
Could people Please put in the description what country they are selling from. This would greatly help as some traders are in the USA and some in other countries. As i am looking to build up my ogre army it would greatly help me to avoid making offers to people only to find out that postage can be a nightmare from overseas ( not to mention new import taxes). It would help people decide more quickly if it is a deal they want to enter into and prevent the wasting of other peoples time.
I dont want to get a negative name on the forum because i offered someone $45 for £45 worth of models without postage or visa versa (as i'm from the uk) only for it to go belly up when the mistake was realised.
Thunder lord klement04 Apr 2013
Traded with Hragged and FantasyFreak both were a pleasure to deal with and transaction went smoothly, Also dealt with ose even though he lived in Canada and me in the UK the transaction went smoothly and arrived ahead of estimated delivery time. All three were polite and helpful and now I have a new ogre army! TLK
