Okies well i was fighting a Khorne Army from 6th Edition list basically Korne armoured troops and marauders vs Ogres (my Tourney list) 2500pts.
By the end of turn 2 things were looking bad I had lost 4 units and hadn't hurt the Chaos much.
In come my Gnoblar Fighters
First they beat off a unit of Marauders and followed into a second unit of Marauders (the combat hadn't been fought).
With the help of some Bulls defeated the second unit and chased them down (the Bulls couldn't keep up).
So a 40pt Gnoblar unit helped kill 250pts of marauders and then contested the table quarter to rub salt into the Korne players wounds.
Ogres won in a Minor Victory due to 2 captured banners.

It was actually the 6thEd Korne list with like 10 dispel dice so my Magic wasn't so effective.
Go Gnobies!!!!

What was the original post about? Because WC knocked that out of the ball park.
Seriously though, that's hilarious Bob. It seems every few weeks somebody starts up a gnoblar success thread. Maybe there's a special rule written in ink that only is visible under a blue moon that reads; Gnoblar Awesomity- Fate smiles upon the little blighters when it is awesome to do so.

Must be something like that indeed. Somehow these gnobbo's might be lucky. Imagining how few gnobbo's actually make it to fighter or trapper they have to be pretty lucky anyway! I think it's also that a lot of people underestimate the uses of gnoblars. Most of my opponents are happy to let gnobbo's by if they have a juicier target somewhere. It is at that moment that the gnobs start becoming nasty.

That is just it... Gnoblars are Largely Insignificant and not just the special rule. People ignore them and do silly things like park a large target mounted character nearby. Sure they can't harm the monster, but 40 some shots has a good chance of doing a wound on the rider even with armor saves. People will just consider them a nuisance to go around and go after large more threatening targets until they realize that those Gnoblars are in a position to make a difference(a small one but still) in the battle.
Then I get comments like, "I should have ignored the Gnoblars..." at the end of the game.

Hmm Wildcard loves that word repelled sounds like a fly spray to me but I'm an Aussie or are you saying my Gnoblars are repulsive (joke).
As far as Mercules lil joke is concerned, are you saying Slaanesh are easy beats lol?
Yes the lil green skins have earned their place in my Ogre Armies now, though I keep it to down to 2 units so the squabbling doesn't get to serious lol.

The one time my gnoblars could have done something useful (flank charging a ranked unit of elven warriors that had charged my leadbelchers) they bickered. Oh well.
Technically, the 'Dont' in the phrase 'Dont you get it?' should have an apostrophe in it, between the 'n' and the 't'. -Oh, crap! It's the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. -The Most Bestest Site Ever!
