trappers, the best?

"Marchblocking is pointless in a heavily close combat army in almost any situation.: Talonz

March blocking is one of the most important duties of the little hunter want a be's!!

Why let a fast moving army march around your flanks or flee from you.

By proventing them from marching it helps pin fast armies in and helps take some not all but some of the speed away from them.

End line Trappers won't win you the game, they might not kill there points worth of enemys, but they can be very very help full.
having said that - they can often get you the points back as taking out a war machine crew is within their capabilities.

Talonz said he only gave them 2 games before cutting them - not really enough time to make a good judgement on them I think.
x105 - keeping pace with my wins!

I was born and bred in a briar patch!
The other thing about Trappers s a table quarter holder denyer.

I like the idea of a unit of 9 that Wildcard runs as you need to kill 3 or more for a panic test.

Its a matter of finding the 6pts.

Trappers are also useful vs certain armies while not so good vs others (same as most troops).

9 Trappers double shoting vs a Giant hitting on 4's, 9 hits with average of 1.5 wounds, not too shabby.
