chivalry to death, honor for the lady.

it is time to record the production of my bretonnians. i am in the middle of getting three armies ready to play (tau, skaven - if anyone has clanrats they don't need let me know please - , and bretonnians.)

after these three are "complete" i.e. tau to 1.5 k and kaven to 2k, i will cease purchasing GW products for 1-2 years (unless something juicy come out for the armies mentioned, i will still buy AB's and the occasional product) so i can add money to my bank account in prep for college/uni. i will be playing these armies during this time. if i find stuff i need to trade i will trade for bretonnians, as they will be continued after the purchasing lapse.

therefore, i will host my blog for bretonnians here. i have lizardmen for trade if anyone wants some, along with a ton of different fantasy bitz.

i will also be recieving a large amount of bretonnian models for my dwarves in two weeks time.

Indeed an army list you're working towards would be interesting...I like them so far...some flat colours i think need a few more highlights, but I'm so used to really bad pics of my models that it's probably just the pics anyway

nope, its the models. unfortunatly they were my first brets, and doubly unfortunatly they are varnished.

i am finishing a trade in a few weeks, and i'll be reviecing 2k or more brets for my end of the deal, and most of them are 5th ed. so i have not drawn up an army list yet as i am waiting for that to clear.

If you prefer paint in that style, the easy recommendation would be to dip them afterwords. I'm not sure if there is a product that will stick well to the varnish, but you could test it out on a couple of peasants and see if it works.

i could dip the newer ones, but how would i get a horse into a can of wood finish?

if you really want to dip, I'd advise using a brush to apply it. This way, you've got more control over where it goes.
If you don't want to use a brush, the easiest way is to take pliers, grab hold of the base and dip them upside down.
