Sedanus - Chaos Lord of Slaanesh Conversion

This is the model I created for Sedanus Eldanesh, the father of the three (background fluff can be found here http://ogrestronghold.com/forum/index.php?topic=8004.0, worth a read his conversion was fairly simple but I worked the most on making it invisible to the eye. The ruined pillar posed the most problem, eventually i settled on using a pillar from a cookery shop (used for cake layering) and attacked it carefully so that it would match the design i wanted for the rubble. That was the most time consuming part of modelling, fitting all the urbble into a satisfactory position. The man that is drowing was a bit of a status thing for him. After losing a duel (badly it seem) he fell through the fence guarding the horrible looking water, and slaanesh sent some horrible beast to claim him! Enjoy, comments and criticisms welcome!

Thank you very much for your comments and gnoblar! The shield was a tad...time consuming but it was the first time I really designed the model first and worked specifically to that design. I was so happy with it...Ghark was planned soon afterwards! Thanks again!

- If you have followed the Eldanesh stories for the background for this model...you may be happy to know that I have also converted a model for lucius the eldest son. It's not painted that well...but pics will come soon.

He looks good. The face came out particularly insane looking, and it adds alot to the model.

It looks really amazing, the painting, conversions are just incredibly great work.

What are the two sorta lumpy things around the elves temples, though? Is it just a serious case of acne, or a few tumors Slaanesh gifted him with?

I like it, but may I have a strange request?
Could you take a picture of the whole model from shield size?
I just want to see it more real size (the shield)

@Mr Marshmallow: it's not really an elf...but hey interpret it how you like! they are small horns that are one that head anyway...I didn't add them don't worry about that!

i thought he was a dark elf who worshipped slaanesh or something... I just now read the fluff. I guess it isn't an elf. He sure looks like an elf, though.

No problem, I haven't been doing anything for it.
It looks great, though I think the chaos shield is a little big for the model.

i love it, especially the varnish on the tentacles. but, though i think the pillar would look better gray, its awesome!

Thank you all for comments! The pillar was something I puzzled about for a while, and in the end decided to keep the pillar in the same theme as the model so the empire man would stand out. The idea behind it is that it is perhaps part of a temple to Slaanesh that has seen better years (or is in mid battle!)
