Chomp'm Stomp'm Ogres

original thread ↗

Hello all! I started Warhammer and Ogres this past september and stumbled upon this great website (brown nosing ends here). I wanted to make my own little contributions to the site with what I've worked on so far.

So to start off here's one butcher that's near completion, save for some sanding and marks that need to be fixed up:

Here is a unit of Bulls I have, I only noticed when I took the picture that there were thumbprints on the drum skin so I've got that to work on them:

For the ironguts I added some extra "armour" on them by cutting bits off from ironfists and making them into extra metal plates:

Ahhhh the leadbelchers, I loved the fluff far too much to simply keep them the way they were. I used the plastic end of brush covers to create my own cheap "invisible" line to project a flying Gnoblar, as they say "BOOM, hur, hur"
With the second LB I just wanted something nasty looking, so I added a large flame coming out of the other's cannon (might keep that idea if I switch to Dwarfs) As you can tell they're still not finished in terms of paint:

The last model I have for now is my Gorger. The story behind this one is that I simply got very frustrated with painting it, no matter what I did it just looked disgraceful. So why not throw a fur and pelts on his back with a good old skull on his head?..Made my life easier:

Anyway, I hope to keep this relatively updated and throw in some fluff for my army. Overall I hope you enjoy! I know I did!

Those are some great looking ogres you've got there.
I love the musician (he inspires me..) and the leadbelchers the most!
The gorger conversion is great too, it adds to his cannibalistic nature
and even makes the pose look better.
Keep it up.

Cool looking ogres you've. Like Kobarf said that musician is awesome, simply love it. And what I can see of the bases looks really nice.

If by RAW, you mean "Reg06's Audacious Whims", then you'd be right.

Loving the Butcher and Gorger: I think I shall have to do that for one of my Gorgers.

2 Pet Gnoblars! I dub them Itchy and Scratchy, for reasons that are too private to divulge.
The muscian and leadies are awesome!

I love the butcher and the leadies are great too.
But don't paint them as a misfire please, because that will happen too often then. ;)

Now all we need is the 7th edition rule that said if the models are killed they don't get to fight and we WOULD be a broken army! lol

Hey thanks for the kind words everyone, here's my "Groinbiter" I finished for my trappers

The groinbiter is cool, but the rock needs to be a different color (like grey). With the white base and the snow, it looks unfinished.

Well it's been a LONG time since I've posted any pictures. Here's a Slaughtermaster and Bruiser I'm almost finshed working on.

They look great! The bruiser especially.  The little tilt of his head makes him look psychotic for some reason.
The tyrant looks great which bits have you used to make it?

I've begun constructing a Scraplauncher. I'm missing a Rhinox so I've decided to...improvise. Here's the first stage of the project.

The concept is essentially a chariot pushed by 4-6 Gnoblars with a platform for either a launcher or for Gnoblars to throw sharp stuff.

So here is the progression of my scrapluancher so far. I decided to use an old Beastmen chariot I had lying around for the basis of it and went from there.

Sorry for the absolute terrible quality of the pictures.
