Campaign Weekends

original thread ↗

Now, I'm currently eying the tickets for the new campaign weekend, 'Battle for Albion', down at Warhammer World in Nottingham.
But, first off, I was wondering if any of you had any previous experience with Campign Weekends there. Is it a good laugh? What's the atmosphere like? Age range? And, other such questions...
generally these are a good laugh - not as competative as a GT, but still great fun against good opponents.  The age range is generally 16+ and the atmosphere is great.

I'll be there, as will Corai this year (first weekend in march, I believe)  Tickets are on sale on 01/01/08 if memory serves...

I've been to one of these campaign weekends, they always have one early in the year about march-ish.

They're pretty good all in all, usually some nice rules for the campaign which makes it interesting.
I seem to remember a relaxed attitude in general across the hall.

Funnily enough though, I had more trouble with people powergaming in that CW (and in one case downright cheating) than I've had in two Grand Tournaments and two Doubles Tournaments icon_eek

I normally equip my bruiser with a foam tray and a GW carry case
