Hobby Hero Awards 2007 - The Results!

The lights in the auditorium dimmed as a hundred snuff gnoblars were used to put out the torches lining it’s walls. An expectant hush fell upon the crowd as Ogres shifted in their seat, ready for the nights festivities.

Corai took to the stage, a black dress-robe complete with blue bow tied replacing his traditional brown coverings. At the centre, a great book lay open upon a podium of especially gymnastic gnoblars, forming a greenskin pyramid. Within it’s revered pages lie the results of the Official Ogre Stronghold Hobby Hero Awards 2007.

‘It has been a banner year for the Ogre Stronghold and on behalf of our Lord and Master The Over Tyrant Hragged himself, and all the Staff of the Stronghold, I would like to thank each and every one of the Members which have worked so hard to make this such a great place to be, not just those receiving awards tonight. Everyone works together to make this the best meeting place in the Warhammer world.’

‘It is a real testament to the quality and passion of our members that so many of you found it difficult to find a single nominee for each category and I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all of the nominees this year.’

Congratulations to all the Awardees (and even the nominees; they were so many wonderful posts this year not getting the award speaks not of your failings but of the excellence of the those around you). There were many great ogres nominated, and if was a very tough choice in every category.
And I'd just like to say thanks to all those who nominated and voted for me, it was quite a pleasant surprise.

Good job to everyone this year. Maby next year some of the newer people will be some of the nomines. Have a good christmas everyone.

Ive gotta say that I had my army half finished before I found this site. I just wish I had have found it earlier.

This is one of the best forums on the web and full thanx goes to hragged and the mods for running such a nice place to hang. I love the whole idea of this as it helps to foster helpful and friendlyatmosphere that doesnt exist in most forums.

Id like to thank the guys for voting for me. My ogre army is a labour of love and one that I will keep forever. Thanx to the many contributors that posted thier suggestions and ideas to help me get my army where it is now. I would also like to send a special thanx to Coria who pushed my painting and modelling talents allong just trying to keep up with him
