Hello Ogres and Ogresses

I am returning to the forums, and what better way than with a gnoblog?

After realising that when it comes to models i have an extremely short attention span, I have decided to build a 2000pts dogs of war army!

I already have drafted an army list:

Lords and heroes
Mercenary general 124pts
war horse
morning star
pistol
heavy armour

Paymaster 63pts
halberd
heavy armour

Core
15 Braganzas Besiegers 140pts

10 light cavalry w/ bows 150pts

20 Alicanti Fellowship 215pts

It would appear that I have forgotten to mention that i shall also be creating an ogre army paralel to this dogs of war army (ogre units from the ogre army to be used in the dogs of war army and vice verca) so I'd better get cracking on the army list for that eh?

However, at the moment i'm not entirely sure how to theme my ogres, so far i've got two ideas:

chaos ogres (ableit showing few signs of mutation, but riding rhinox sized spawn and stuff etc.)

or

Ogres that love to make things go boom (im thinkin, gnoblars with fireworks and tyrants with leadbelchers)

whadda ya think?

I feel you should go with the Chaos Ogres, just because they fit in better with DoW Ogre rules.
2 Pet Gnoblars! I dub them Itchy and Scratchy, for reasons that are too private to divulge.

but using the ogres units out of the ogre army book renders the DoW ogres obsolete...

Well it's a nice army with loads of different models and races... perfect for refreshing your interest for painting! I'll be waiting to see some piccies. :)

its a soild list and has quite a vierty of models in it.
