My partner and I where jut discussing something, thought I'd get your input on the matter.
"Why do Ogres have such crooked teeth?"
As far as I'm concerned the resident healer is bound to be the "Magic man" of the tribe, and any ogre going to see the healer, i.e. Butcher is as likely to end up in his cauldren as have his problem seen to.
What do you all think

I think it's a genetical trait - the meat of the cave-beasts the Ogres eat is bound to be tough, and they need a good set of fangz to be able to chew it.
As for the butcher, he spends his days chewing bones and bedrock, his teeth are bound to be a little disfigured.

Ogres have teeth akin to those of beast. Also they don't care a snotlings loingcloth about them. Finally all that eating, fighting and drinking is quite likely to make your teeth look nasty.
Butchers gobble down all kinds things, helping to disfigure their teeth. They also hammer rocks and iron stumps into their gums, which isn't pretty, that's for sure.

I had to Google Big Red Book to figure out it meant the WFB rulebook - I thought it had something to do with Mao.

the way i see it, ogres have insatiable appetites, and when you combine that with the bloodlust and thrill of combat they yearn for, when it comes time to munch down they don't seem to care much in the way of wether or not what is eating them may hurt them or mess up their teeth.
I think they are generally supposed to be seen as slobs and gluttons, i mean, why else would they have a religion based on their guts? if they had really nice teeth, i just don't think it would look right for the character of the ogres.

The main reason that ogres have crooked teeth imho is that ogres eat anything metal, rock, people... and that must take its toll on your teeth.

As someone posted earlier (i think)...
read the codex in the part where it looks as if a human had cut up an ogre to see the anatomy, read what it says he had eaten...rocks and stuff, a whole horse, all kinds of things.
Next time I eat a whole horse i will take a picture of my teeth for you all.
