The local group is running a league this fall.  2250 pts and as much cheese as you can field.

As far as I can tell the Ogres don't really have a list that meets the minimum dairy requirements for this league but I thought I might take this list.

TYRANT - (Tenderiser, Wyrdstone, Heavy Armor) - 276

BUTCHER - (Bang Stick, Dispel Scroll) - 180

BUTCHER - (Skull Mantle, Dispell Scroll) - 175

drop a unit of bulls and 2 of the gnoblar figher units and buy a 3rd butcher.  That'll help with the fromage :)

Just had a funny thought...

what if you took 2 scraplaunchers, 2 units of yehttis and then (really you could sub in and 4 special choices)...

took 2 units of leadbelchers as DoW.

Maybe not the strongest army as far as winning games but taking something from your own army book as DoW because all the special slots were taken up has got to be about as cheesey as you can get.

You can't take Ogres as DoW in an Ogre army.

@Slurge; Like you said, Ogres aren't big dairy eaters. I suggest doing exactly what Wildcard said; your list is almost perfect as it stands now, so there isn't too much to say about it, but it sounds like you are going to need that 3rd butcher for this league.

So, do you think 2 scrolls on the third butcher?

That leaves 5pts to get a luck gnoblar for the tyrant.

Yup, 4 scrolls is good. Some people might tell you that's overkill, but shutting down the enemy's magic phase is not a bad thing.
