Gorthor the beastloard

original thread ↗

it says in his special rules that he counts as having the mark of all four chaos gods. so i assume he gets +1DD,+1PD for khorn  and Tzeentch is also a lvl 4 Tzeentch sorcerer because he is a lord. please someone tell me this is correct.
No, he simply counts as having all four marks for army composition.
Thats a good question though, maybe he SHOULD count as having the benefits o fthe marks. It makes sense to me.

Except half the marks conflict with eachother.
Then why didnt they just say he was undivied like the other lords if he doesnt get the bonuses

Such is the nature of Chaos...SHOULD they work together? Not very Chaotic if they are in harmony, right? Just a thought.

Slaanesh beats them all.
Or is this just a way that GW screwed up when writing rules.  Gods of Chaos and the writers of rules over at GW, think about that one, I'm sure it will come to you:).

Thanks,
JC

Malal
Who?
and
FERNEX ÜBERALLES
What?

Anyway this prevarication is pointless. Khaine is the only Chaos God worth his salt.

Hashut is the Chaos Dwarf god.
Fernex is the Dark Lord of Machines, and a younger and more minor of the chaos gods.  Vaguely unofficial, Fernex is still totally sweet in an Industrial kinda way.  There was a great site about Fernex, which is toast now but I actually found an old print-out of it last night ...  In the meantime, here's the link to a B&C thread about old Ferny.

- Salvage, who wants him some manglers
Fernex too sounds really cool, and I would love to see him as a part of the 40K universe. The irony would be delicious if the machine spirit that the Techpriests worship turned out to be a Chaos God.

I'm actually with the whisperings that put the Machine God as another C'tan, long dormant on the red planet ...  The Dragon sleeps, but for how long?  Deus Ex Mechanicus!

Me too (hail the C'Tan!) but it's one of those frustrating things that will never be; you couldn't have the dragon awaken on Mars, it would be to big a thing to happen, it would be like Angron succeeding at Armageddon.

Fernex does sound cool though. Daemonic steamtank anyone?
I reckon that that would be an awesome setting for a WH40K Summer Campaign: The Dragon´s Awakening! Would cause a pretty big shift in WH40K fluff, so that an "all back to normal" ending would be difficult but still: en-masse war on Mars? Cooooooool!
