Happy HUnting
IronGrib
seems alittle sparce in areas.

i dont like tooth gnoblars. its 5 pts that could be better spent imo.

i wont change the hunter, i think its good to have more hunters out there, but he should have the longstrider, and your tyrant should have like alot more gear, wyrdstone necklace, tenderiser, mawseeker, heavy armor, i love that combo.

u might want either another butcher, or at least deck him out with all scrolls. ur lacking magically right now badly.

only 3 bulls, and 3 standards. id drop all the standards but 1. take out an irong gut from each, and make a 4th unit. thatll probably do alot better. with the extra points from standard and gnoblars, you can probably make room for a unit of 20 gnoblars. or 25.

rhinox riders take a rare and a special choice, but most places that allow them take them as dogs of war choices, so thats 2 rare choices. so be advised.

1 gorger isnt gonna do alot, its sadly either 2 or nothing.

trappers dont need a snarefinger.

might ditch some LBs for some bulls
Lords:1-1
1 Tyrant with heavy armor and with seige weapon Longstrider = 261
What role are you using this for? The choice of Longstrider usually means you expect him to be able to win combat alone, which means challenges, which means tenderizer. The choice of Seigebreaker is for the extra str & the strike vs. I, which means you are going to try to get him against large, slow targets like war machines, dragons, war hydras and giants... it's not a bad idea, now that I think about it. I would still get him a wyrdstone necklace and luck gnoblar if he's going to go off running around on his own, and I don't think he will be as effective as a tenderizer, but it's not a bad or illegal choice, so it's better than some I have seen.

Heroes:2-3
1 Butcher with bangstick, and tooth gnobler =135
1 Hunter with 2 sabertusks =185
The butcher's points are wrong, as you have it listed it would be 160.
The hunter's points are right, but he is not a very effective choice. There is a reason not a lot of people take them... since this is your first tourney, I would go with a more standard 2nd or 3rd butcher until you get a better feel for the army.

Core:4+
3 Bulls=105
4 Ironguts with standard lookout Gnoblars =217
4 Ironguts with standard lookout Gnoblars =217
4 Ironguts with standard lookout Gnoblar  =217
8 Gnobler Trapers with a Snarefinger = 52
you have 3 standards and 3 lookout gnoblars. You have 1 tyrant and 1 butcher, and the hunter cannot join units. Who is the third standard and LoGN for?
Special:4-4
3 Yhetees=195
2 RhinoxCavalry bull rhinox with ironfists with heavy armor with Stand Barrer. = 346
2 Leadbelchers =110
2 Leadbelchers =110

Rare:2-2
1 Gorger=75

All equals in points = 2250!
It doesn't actually equal that, because the butcher's points are wrong.
I agree with Pudge about the gorger and the butchers and the tyrant (although I like longstrider over Mawseeker... putting Heavy Armor on a T6 model is a waste) and the tooth gnoblar and the scrolls and... well, Leadbelchers and bulls are pretty much interchangable, both serving the same role... leadbelchers are better vs. light cav and fliers, but bulls are more likely to survive. The only thing good about a snarefinger is that it's 4 points and nothing else is.

ok thank you guys for your commants for the Tyrant i was thinking of puting him with my 1 unit of 2 RHinox Riders sry about the butchers points i didnt know i made that mistake. Well when i was doing my other lists a couple of people said i should get some standards and lookout for my IGs the standards for wining combat more easily. Well for pudge the Rhinox Riders just for Ogres only take one special and one rare. Anyway if he would not go into IG i would drop longstider name and put him with IGs. Thank you for your commants soo far I'm still new to Ogres in a way soo more the comants the better  icon_smile

a fairly standard 2250 rhinox list would look something like this-

1 Tyrant
tenderizer, wyrdstone necklace, heavy armor and luck gnoblar: 281

3 Butchers
1 with bangstick and scroll: 180
1 with skullmantle and scroll: 175
1 with 2 scrolls: 180

4 units of 3 naked bulls with bellowers: 460
1 unit of 8 gnoblar trappers: 48
4 units of 3 Ironguts: 576

2 units of 1 Bull Rhinox Rider with Heavy Armor and standards: 350

one bull rhinox and one bull unit on each flank... that should keep any annoying flank cav or flying marchblockers from causing problems. the other two bulls lead in the ironguts up the center to bait charges or screen, depending on the enemy army. the rhinox riders then flank-charge into the center in a bear-trap move.

character use and placement is determined by your opponent... just remember to try to get the skullmantle butcher into LOS to the enemy, because he can cause panic checks with braingobbler and bonecruncher. Watch for enemy characters hiding in small units, and send the tyrant at them alone... if they can't move out of base contact, they can't declne the challenge. if they can't dcline a challenge, overkill from a tenderizer challenge can destroy an entire unit.

it's simple and effective for a first-time tournament.

Yea this list looks good and is cheaper then my other list my mom hates it when i spend a whole lot of money on this stuff lol. What else is cool is that the store i go to becouse it redid some stuff in side it is going to be the regionaly for the Grand Tournement so thats pritty kool, but i dont think i can go up that far lol. Thanks again when the tournement is done i will put it up and to tell you guys what happend.
if it is the regional GT, you need to check if Rhinox Riders are allowed. They aren't official per GW any more.

if they are not allowed... remove 350 points for the Rhinox Riders, and add:
2 units of 20 gnoblar fighers: 80
1 unit of 2 leadbelchers with a bellower: 120
2 gorgers: 150

the stategy has to change a little, with the leadbelchers up the middle of the board, ironguts pounding one half and bulls/leadbelchers cutting off the other half.

since your entire army is charging wildly across the board, screaming and killing on the way, the gnoblar fighters just chill in your deployment zone to either soak up ambushers or mining teams and tunneling teams and what-not, and if the opponent doesn't do something to them then they claim those quarters at the end of the game.

and the other benefit of this army? 12 bulls, 8 Ironguts, 48 gnoblar (8 converted to trappers), and 8 leadbelchers (only 2 needed, so 6 spare Ogres) are the exact contents of 2 battalion boxes. add a single box of 4 Ironguts, 2 gorgers and some green stuff to your 6 spare ogres to make them into 3 butchers and a Tyrant... entire 2250 army is about $200 (US)

it's cheap, it's legal, it's competitive, it's simple to build and run.
