I suck with names and with good accents. Next to that I don't see the logic in an OGRE writing down his history. Nonetheless I will write from the perspective of the tyrant in my tribe. Nonetheless, Here is a big update including a battlereport!
-The history of Sakroth-Sakroth was a born Bruiser. He defeated some bulls in fights and struggles way before he was a full grown male. He always picked fights with them ogres and ended up as Bruisers indeed. Big, fat, armored and mean. However, unlike many others Sakroth picked a fight with the tyrant, lost because some gnoblar's wanted revenge for some of their brothers and threw sharp stuff at him, and lived after all that.
It was just getting day and loud yelling could be heard in all ogre tribes in the kingdoms. But it just came from one point. Ogres that were near gathered and saw what it came from. Sakroth the bruiser struggeled with the tyrant of 'is tribe. They stopped and walked away. They started a pitfight. Within a few minuts deep cuts were on both their bodies. Sakroth took a large club that was left in the pit by someone that's probably dead by now. He smashed it on the tyrant's shoulder and it broke at the impact.
Blood was everywhere on them. Spikes and studs left in their bodies they were gettin' tired. The tyrant was on the losing side. But suddenly a large group of gnoblars jumped into the pit and threw alot of sharp stuff. Sakroth fainted and the battle was over. They expected 'im to be dead and all of 'em left. But after 2 rainy days he awoke again. Scarred and mean he left the tribe. Lost his pride and honour. But blessed by the great maw for this second life.
Some ogre's saw 'im and understood he was granted more life. They followed him as their new leader. Sakroth was not just big 'nd ugly like the average tyrant. 'E was also blessed by the great maw. And so it came that a small new tribe was created. The tribe of Sakroth the Blessed.
-First log entry-We found a nice place for settlement. Some caves full of gnoblars which from now on will form our pets and servants. I got quite some ogre's with me. We found a caravan that gave us pretty things. Shiny and strong, that's what we like! It made me have some real good Ironguts next to some bulls. Also even some leadbelchers are with me now! Also, a bull decided to become our butcher. As every tribes needs one (or three) I told him to eat poisenous stuff to prove 'imself. And so it came that we had our small tribe standing. But even before we gathered materials for some nice tents some dwarves attacked us. Even a gorger joined us in the fight!
-Battlereport of 1000 points battle versus dwarves-
Deployment.JPG)
The numbers indicate the order of deployment. The yellow/grey blob is a hill (not difficult terrain), the green blob a forest, the grey line a low wall.
So here we go:
1. Dwarves deploy 10 quarrellers
2. Ogres deploy 20 gnoblar fighters
3. Dwarves deploy an organ gun
4. Ogres deploy 2 leadbelchers, right in front of it, not the smartest move
5. Dwarves deploy 15 warriors
6. Ogres deploy 3 ironguts and a bruiser. The bruiser had to be put at the back because itd outmanoeuvre himself else ways.
7. Dwarves deploy a bolt thrower.
8. Ogres deploy 2 leadbelchers.
9. Dwarves deploy another bolt thrower.
10. Ogres deploy 3 bulls and a butcher. The butcher stands in the back strangely.
11. Dwarves deploy slayers. Strangely right in front of the leadbelchers.
12. Ogres deploy another 2 leadbelchers.
13. Gnoblar trappers are deployed behind the hill
Turn 1 (ogres).JPG)
Basically everything moves forward. Unluckily the bulls + butcher turn out to do not get out of the line of sight. During the magic phase the Butcher casts Trollguts on the leadbelchers giving them regeneration and magic resistance (2). He then regains his wound using the remaining two power dice. The dwarves use 2 dispel dice at both spells but fail to dispel. There is nothing in range for the shooting.
Turn 1 (dwarfs).JPG)
At the dwarves the slayers run forwards. The trollguts on the leadbelchers is dispelled with the dwarven powerdice. In the shooting fase hell breaks loose. The organ gun shoots the two most upper leadbelchers down at once. The bolt throwers kill one ogre bull and four gnoblar fighters. One irongut is shot down by the quarrellers.
Turn 2 (ogres).JPG)
First off the Gorger jumps up. Again a lot moves forwards and the ironguts charge the dwarf warriors. The ironguts gain Trollguts after two tries of two powerdice. The leadbelchers shoot down 7 dwarf slayers. The dwarven warriors lose enough to end up with fear + outnumber. They are destroyed and the ironguts overrun into the bolt thrower.
Turn 2 (dwarfs).JPG)
The dwarf slayers run towards the forest, out of the leadbelcher charge and shooting range. Also the hammerers move forwards on that the bolt thrower can shoot at the ironguts and gorger. All dwarven shooting doesnt has much to aim for but gnoblars. Therefore they get almost totally shot down. Only 6 warriors and 4 trappers remain. During the combat the second bolt thrower gets destroyed, as well as the crew.
Turn 3 (ogres).JPG)
The leadbelchers move and wheel more towards the remaining dwarves, ignoring the slayers. The ironguts turn around and the gorger isnt used to charge (probably forgotten by the player!).
Turn 3 (dwarfs).JPG)
Dwarves charge gnoblar fighters, whom flee, they redirect into the trappers, whom flee as well. Yet the gnoblars are entirely shot down. The quarrellers shoot at the ogres but do not deal any damage.
Turn 4 (ogres)The ironguts, gorger and bulls charge the hammerers. They strangely flee as reaction, which shouldnt have been necessary as hammerers are stubborn. The ironguts and gorger overrun into the bolt thrower, the hammerers get destroyed as the bulls still charge them. The bulls overrun in quarrellers after that. The quarrellers flee as well and get slaughtered by the bulls.
Turn 4 (dwarves)The bolt thrower is destroyed and the bulls are shot by the organ gun. But the shots are unlucky and only two wounds are caused.
Turn 5 (ogres)The ironguts and gorger run into the organ gun and finish their crew off as well. It all results in a major victory for the ogres.
-Second log entry-We got a dwarven organ gun as price which will be given to a leadbelcher. Also a hunter found us. Apparantly he heard of me. As he was the second in his tribe, even he joined us! More bulls move towards here. Our tribe is yet gettin' bigger. My yurt is done in a few days I guess.
