Ironicly my enemy's rolls of magic With Teclis and two lvl 2 mages werent as good as i was afraid of. So when he had charged me with his silver helms with commanderinto my unit of 8 bulls full command and Bruiser with the possibility of getting flanked by my unit of 4 ironguts with Tyrant(with the Thunder Mace) or my Rhinox rider. Of course I beeted him in combat and ran him down. And i bulldozed through his sword masters easily with my Rhinox rider and broke his unit of spearelves with my seconed unit of 8 bulls fullcommand. He shot down my Hunter on his way up to his archers and artillery. While he was being foolish my Rhinox rider was around his use to be flank and approuching the same target. While my other units were getting shot by,magic, arrow, and bolt.,in the end my Tyrant and Bruiser caught his mages and killed them. Then my Rider ran through his artillery and into his archers. the rest of my army cornered Teclis and my Bruiser gave him a wound out of 3 than Teclis's sword killed my Bruiser. Than I charged my Tyrant and remaining Bulls into him, and my Thunder mace gave him a wound while my champion didnt wound him but ran him off the board. Giving me Victory over a cheap High Elf army with heavy magic while mine had none at all.

P.S-Only after the battle I noted that he had to many characters for a legal army. He had Teclis-1lord,1hero,2 lvl2mages, and a commander
Sweet.. nothing makes you feel better! ;)
I voted YES because a butcher at least could have been put into a squad and so still get to bash heads in combat.  The hunter was sniped out, and gut magic would basically have not happened ... so maybe even a brusier in the hunter's place?  Normally though I'd say keep the hunter, you can't judge his usefulness by one game's early death :x

Also, good on you for using the the Thammer, never seen on in game.  AND nice work crushing them cheese elves!

If the shooting wasn't directed at the Hunter (a serious threat to the warmachines) it would have been elsewhere, possibly doing more damage there.
