sorry folks but i do not have a back story as of yet(but you know its going to involve pies!)
This is my Bruiser (the current lord of the Pie Masters!) the tooth/blade pircings are my first proper time useing putty(not green stuff)
these are my Ironguts
this is my bull unit, i have actualy taken out one of the bull to make room for my butcher(unpainted) and made him in to a maneater thare should be a pic of him soon! oh and the maw banner now has a big pie on it i shall take a pic later on.
my Lead belchers, not much to say realy altho i glued a gnoblar in to the cannon on the far right
and lastly a pic of my giant (just a strate from the box jobie)
well thats all for the moment i hope to get more pics of the butcher and maneater soon, and compose a war gear list.
any feedback would be great thanks

looks good, though i dont understand this lime green gnoblar stuff? are the gnoblars smothered in key lime pie before battle?
i want pics of this pie eating banner!
the painting looks as good as your imperial guard and im really impressed with the GS work as it was your first time using it

Looking much better with the proper image tags!
Nice work in general - the bright green Gnoblars are an interesting touch - clearly they've been around too much Warpstone! (that, or Readybrek)
I like the cowhide trousers on the Giant, that worked out well. I may do something similar for spot (my giant)
One minor concern - on your Bruiser, the colour of his trousers is very close to his skin tone. He could easily be mistaken for a naked Ogre! (certainly a fear causing unit!)
Meet Kenneth and George, my Backscratcher Gnoblars.

I really like the gnoblar skin tone, it sets them nicely aside from the bigger ogres. The gnobbo canonball is always a great looking conversion and yours is no exception. I love the maneater too, the kilt and knife and fork are both fantastic conversions. I'll look forward to seeing what's nextfor the pie eaters (scrap launcher flinging custard ones ?)
Thanks Corai

as i said to you in messenger, the pics for the butcher and his bull unit dont work.
like the list but as you know its illegal till u get 2000 points, unless you drop a rare choice and add the gnoblars
and as i keep trying to tell ya, split the leadbelchers up, its better that way, unless you just lumped them together in this list for ease of points tallying.

I really like this army. I for one like the vomit-green Gnoblars, but I love the Pie Banner. Have u ever heard of Weebl and Bob?

this list should be an interesting match against da undaking next week, we just gotta make sure that we take photos of the battles. what do you say about writing a joint battle report? and putting up our own thoughts on the games on our repective gnoblogs?

A few comments on the list: 1) It's always a good idea to have a Luck Gnoblar on a Bruiser. Also, heavy armour would be a very good idea, as u could use it in conjunction with the Ironfist. 2) The bangstick or the Skullmantle are far better than the Blood Cleaver, the Bangstick in particular as it increases the chance of getting a spell off. 3) Champions on Ogre units are a waste of points. For 20pts all u get is +1A whereas u can get an extra Bull for just 35pts. 4) 4 Leadbelchers together is very risky: 1 misfire and a large chunk of ur army could go racing away. I would prefer 2 units of 2. These allow for redundancy, lessen the potential damage a misfire could do, allow u to protect both flanks from light cav, and provide decent flank support for ur main cc units.

as i helped him write this list, the leadbelchers are 2 seperate units, at least i hope they still are, it looks like its been through a few revisions since i last saw it,

Yeah sure thing sounds good to me!
Pie Master03 Jun 2007
thanks for the tips on the army list guys, the lead belchers are going in as 2 units of 2, i may scrap blood clever as i was only intrested in the gaing a W back if he takes any! i also found out thares actualy a spell for that anyway but oh well, and yes i am deffonatly going for the heavy armor now! would that be a +3 sv? im not sure

aloha!
these are my new iron guts and bruser converted by Sycorax and painted by my self
after playing my first battle using ogres i was shocked by the leadbelchers randomness (you know the ol blow ya self up routeen) also the gonblers were the best unit imo as thay scared off a unit of spider riders and made them flee in to a unit of 40 night gobblins including the genrale and making them panic off the bord in turn 2!
it was a good game, i think it was a break out battle or something like that. i dont think i would have won if it wasnt for the anamosaty rule(i dont think the archers got a look in) my bruser was spiked by a arrow launcher and my butcher unit ran away! oh thare was also a giant vs giant thing going on(i lost) but it was good fun ether way
not realy a battle report but thare you go
Cheers

The Ironguts are alright. However, the colours are a bit flat. As someone who is not a great painter, I can sympathise, but even just a basecoat, then broad highlight combination looks brilliant next to simple basecoat.

I love the pistol wielding bruiser, very nice conversion by sycorax tied together nicely by your paintjob
