A fairly rough and ready (when compared to some of the master pieces on this site - you know who you are ) Ogre Army but one I had up and running very quickly after the book come out. Unfortunately the Bulls that made up the bulk of the Core had a nasty encounter with a spray on varnish and have been stripped for a re-paint

Even tho it may not be to everyones taste, I love the unique look to your army, not sure about your slave giant tho!!!
Are they all gamesworkshop models (apart from giant.... clearly )
thanks, tOB.

Pretty cool army you have there, some great conversions and the mixing of different models sets it apart as being that bit more unique. Shrek as a slave giant now that is cool.

You got me shocked at the yhetees. When I was looking at the pictures this were my toughts "converted" "other models" "other models and converted" "other models" "converted look-out gnoblar" "very cool gnoblars" "plain yhetees" *scrolls back* "PLAIN YHETEES ?!"
Like the Over Belly said, not everyones taste (I would never take those models). But it all looks great ! maybe hand paint the shrek to make it look less like an action figure.

Don't sell yourself sort, these minis look really characterfuk and interesting., they could use with some better loit shots as a lot of the minis are being lost in shadow at the moment, but there are some real gems i nthere. The gnoblar conversions, iron fist toting character and gorgers are particularly impressive
Thanks corai

Nice work there - the grey skin looks very stony and 'ard - the old minis look good too, especially the shaman/butcher. However, get yerself a proper giant, the big Shrek just looks plain silly.

shrek derserves to be a slave after shrek 3! now they are very gritty and interessting models you used they make the entire ary look very serious. Good Job

I like the ogre with the rock (I think I might make one actually I like the idea so much!) and the hats on the leadbelchers, not too sure on the shrek model though!!!
The Cynocephali were a race of dog headed men whose origin seems to come from somewhere between India and Thailand. Apparently St Christopher was a Cynocephali who abhored his savage people and prayed to God to be given the gift of human speech. Thereafter he was able to preach the word of God. My Blog

I like this army very much, and I am wondering about ur theme, seeing as most of ur Ogres and Gnoblars appear to be deformed and hunched, and I would be very interested to know about it.
2 Pet Gnoblars! I dub them Itchy and Scratchy, for reasons that are too private to divulge.

Truthfully, for some reason, my favourite model is the Slavegiant

For those who are wondering, a majority of the hunched Ogres are non-GW models. Rackham, maybe? Dunno.
I really like most of your painting, and the Gnoblars look cool and Characterful. You also make me want to make an Ogre With Rock (tm)...maybe for Golden Demon, as a little joke entry? We'll see.

Ogres have a few good points. In summary, I like them because they make me sexy.
