ROLEPLAY
Going around 'The-Battle-Of-The-Tyrants' I hade the idea of trying to see... if anyone would like to try some fast roleplay. This would be done once a week at a certain day/hours... The main idea would be to put it up so if someone miss a week it is no big trouble getting back in it. The plan would be to roleplay a bunch of Ogres around a named tribe... each week peoples that are here would roleplay their Ogre/Gnoblar/Monster going for an adventure around the camp. At the end of the adventure all Ogres/Gnoblars/Monsters return back to the camp and that week session ends. That way if someone miss a session well we can all say that his Ogre was staying behind for blabla... reason. Same time you could have a new member come for one adventure and play without any problem... is Ogre being already part of the tribe and was simply ask by the Vets to come along.

ADVENTURE
The adventures would be put at the most simple... The Ogres meets together... The Ogres go for a Patrol walk around the camp... bit of roleplay (1hrs)... A fight on a pre-made map (1hrs)... Ogres come back to camp and get their reward / experience (1hrs)...

It could be as simple as Gnoblars searching a badger hole... to a patrol of Ogre Rhinox Riders facing another Tribe patrol...

EXPERIENCE
After each 3 sessions you would climb in the ladder of characters. If your character gets kill you simply start from scratch at the bottom of wich ladder you were. Example: your Ironguts die... next session you can start as an Ironguts but will need 3 more session before gaining the titles and stats of a 'lets say' Bruiser.

CHARACTERS PROGRESSION
fast draw... 1-2-3-4 ladder

Bull - Crusher - Ironguts - Gutlord - Bruiser
Bull - Crusher - Ironguts - Gutlord - Butcher
Bull - Crusher - Ironguts - Gutlord - Hunter
Bull - Leadbelcher - Thunderfist - Manheater
Bull - Rhinox Tamer - Rhinox Rider - Thunderlord

Gnoblar - Groinbiter - Gnoblar Scrapper - A Team of Scraplauncher
Gnoblar Trapper - Snarefinger - Sabertusk Rider or Eagle Rider - A Team of Trappers
Gnoblar - Luck Gnoblar - Sword Gnoblar - Hero Gnoblar with a Team of Gnoblars

Rhinox - Yhetee - Gorger - Slavegiant

HOW TO PLAY
You would need a free small program call XFire... this is to talk online and its use by most online gamers... the program dont take alot from your computer and is made to play in the background while your doing your other stuff online (like playing a game) really easy to use, convert and top notch program. Roleplay on it till the leader tell you there is a fight. Next come here on the forum to see the map and decide where you go, what you do, ect... Follow the rules from the Ogre Kingdom Book. "And" In the end someone that wants to write what happen put the story on the forum in "THE MAW-PIT-SAGA" in the same thread as the last story of the week before.

LEADER & USAGE
The Master would be change every few sessions or when time cannot permit for him to be there. Map are easy to pre-built and would look like the one created for the Nemesis Campaign "Battle-Of-The-Tyrants". Game Dice using Roll Them Bone website or else the Master can roll for each Ogre. Rules are easy to follow as we got all the book already...

Just an Idea,
Barabas
This sounds like a good idea but it would depend on the time. I live in Oz which is +10hrs or Greenwich. I think US is up to 12 hours behind me.

So if the times can be nailed down then I will play.

9 gnobs a swordy my tyrant and 2 pack gnobs

My doctor told me I was paranoid
Well he didnt tell me but I know he was thinking it
It could also be run like 'Punt-A-Runt' but would take longer to play if put that way... Would give less roleplay but more flexibility... All ideas are welcome !!!
The basic ideas presented here sound very interesting, especially the career progression portion.

However, I dont really see the Xfire portion working too well. It seems overly complicated. The same thing goes for the once-a-week playing session part.

Instead, why dont we make this a play-by-post. That seems to make a lot more sense to me, and you can still have the maps and everything.
