Sounds like an awesome idea!

If you have a look on wargamerau.com, there are some pretty good tutorials on photographing miniatures and the sorts of camera you should be using.
im halting my ogre army for a little while probably a month, but i will be starting a mordheim warband.
the campaign will be based off underworld movies in the medieval ages. So all same warbands + werewolf warband and an all vampire warband. ive written up all the werewolf warband rules so far just dont know where i ca post them?

well... as I was the one who recommended the crusher, let me explain why:

the tyrant and the BSB are both going in that unit (to benefit from the lookout gnoblar, 5 models in the unit being 2 casualties for a panic test, and +2 static CR.) As such, it is likely to be the subject of challenges. There will be some cases where you do not want the expensive BSB or Tyrant involved in the challenge, and the crusher offers you a choice in the matter... a "superman" challenging from inside a unit that could kill the tryant before it attacks, an empire player with the speculum, any model that negates magic weapon attacks against it, and RnF units with 2 or 3 wounds are all cases where the Tenderizer does better outside the challenge than inside.

Without the protection of Heavy Armor, Wyrdstone Necklace and a luck Gnoblar, you may need to be a bit careful about what challenges your challenge-beast takes.

I admit, it is not the "standard" configuration. However, at the time we were also dealing with limited model availability as well.

Like the fluff, are you planning on using an actual treeman arm for the tyrant model? That'd be awesome. Also I seem to remember one of the Giants of Albion ROR having a tree branch club that might look good. I'm planning something similar for my tyrant, using spare tree parts (uprooted, not treeman) from the giant kit. Best of luck!
