Hey guys and gals, fellow ogres, I've been collecting Ogre Kingdoms since they were released two and a half years ago. I have an army totalling up at around 5,400 points, and yet I haven't, as yet, thought up a name (and consequently, a theme) . I love the OK's, and they are possibly my favourite army I possess, but without a theme that isn't too common but at the same time not ridiculously outlandish, or name to influence my army, my passion is slowly dwindling ..... PLEASE HELP ME !!!!
Any suggestions, ideas or links to others themed armies would be muchly appreciate.
Kindest regards, Josh

Well what do you like? What themes do you have for your other armies? That would be a good place to start!

Erm..... my Empire army is based upon the place known as Sylvania, in the Empire, before it fell into disrepute due to the vampire counts, back when it was a former Electoral State, with Elector Count and all.
My DOW army doesn't need a theme, as they are characterful enough as it is.
Erm..... I dunno what else. I don't want to theme the WHOLE army around another army completely, but at the same time, I don't want them to stay as they are. I'm considering converting specific units, to keep the OK feel to the army, whilst adding character e.g: converting maneaters, such as a witch-hunter, a tomb guard etc etc
Thanks for the response, and you can never have nough suggestions, so keep them coming guys. All your support is appreciated.
Kind regards, Josh

Well, here are a few quick thoughts of some things I've personally yet to see (I'm about to run out for a haircut, so they won't be complete sentences-sorry!):
Ogres with a vampire counts influence- perhaps less gory and more creepy gothic looking.
Lustrian Ogres- maybe Aztec influenced like lizardmen, or perhaps more native (north) american influenced.
wood-elfy nature-boy ogres (vegetarians?!!).
Celtic-themed ogres, maybe from Albion- lots of opportunities for cool body tattoos and bright green dyed beards.
Inuit styled Ogres- big fur coats, harpoons, elephant seals in place of Rhinoxes, etc.
Hope these are at least amusing- good luck!

Eyegougers! (inspired by your name)
Well. Your tribe feast on eyes and believe they give them night-vision/better sight (?) This idea creates the traveling that you wanted and the versatility of enemy. Your tyrant may even have a collection of all the different eyes he has earnt. Their symbol could be the maw sign with an eye in the centre.
You could develop on this idea if you like it.
Thanks

Despite finding an idea i think is awesome, any other suggestions are still welcome
Kind regards, Josh

Eyegougers is a great name, and also one that can link in with various themes: Maw-worshipping fanatic Ogres Chaos Ogres Greenskin Ogres Desert Ogres Daemonic Ogres
Essentially the main ways to theme an OK force are: Environment (eg. jungle, mountain, desert etc.) Religious beliefs (i.e. Chaos, Maw, Mork/Gork etc.) Associated races (i.e. a race that the Tribe cohabits with/fights a lot) Historical influence (i.e. Spartan Ogres)
2 Pet Gnoblars! I dub them Itchy and Scratchy, for reasons that are too private to divulge.

This make me think of the 'eye of Gruumsh' prestige class of DnD. Orc barbarians have to cut out their right eye ball in a bloody ritual. This gives them great strength. If you search for it on google you'll get all sorts of info (wikipedia even has a page for Gruumsh).
