The Dragonmaw Tribe - 2000pts Tourney list, what do you think?

Panties unbunched
Tyrant looks good, but I would simply drop BoH and the Greyback Pelt in favor of the Bullgut.

Replace your Bruiser with a Butcher.
I recommend adding in a third Butcher OR a BSB instead of the Hunter. If youre not doing either of these, just drop him. I would personally though, modify your Tyrant to Bullgut/GW/HA/Longstrider/Greyback Pelt since your running him alone. Try to get flank charges as often as possible.

Its generally agreed that Butchers are MUCH better than Bruisers, with the exception of a BSB in case youve allready got 2 or so Butchers, and Hunters are almost unuseable mainly (in fact only) because you cant give them Greyback Pelt, Bullgut and Longstrider at once. You cant even give him 2 of those together... and hes so expensive.

You look like you need to buff your Ironguts and Bulls. With the points you get from dropping the Hunter and the Bruiser (make the second butcher mundanely equipped) and the points from adjusting your Tyrant, add in an irongut and a bull to each unit. Take that crappy Ragbanner (which truly fits its name) away from your Ironguts and give them the Warbanner.

Also I dont really see the point in Ironfist without LA... you wont get an armour save better than 6+ and none versus shooting, and if you use the Ironfist as a shield you dont get the bonus of your Club, but you get a 5+ save. And if youre just using them as additional hand weapons, replace them with that. Bulls should be kept ''naked'' except for a Bellower.

The Gnoblars look fine (I hate gnoblars personally), I dont really know what you want to do with the Leadbelchers... since theyre only two, but I suppose you could use them for psychological effect and perhaps cut the size of something down.

The Rhinoxen look fine. I would give them Hand Weapons and Ironfists though, in addition to Heavy Armour which makes for an exceptional 2+ save.

Drop the Champion from your Ironguts. If you have any points to spare, either add a second unit of Ironguts or buff your Leadbelchers. If you dont have points for that, either more bulls/gnoblars. The Slavegiant is ok.

NOT OK to Post Point cost of an individual character within a unit or the cost of a magic item
Tendrizer points or Tooth Gnoblar points or standard bearer points
point cost of an individual bull or Irongut

Its Games workshop's intellectual property, and they have strict rules about such things. They can shut down webpages and forums for listing things like individual points values. They have in the past they might do it again.

Before you ask...
Yes, if I post that 3 ironguts cost 144 points, you can probably figure out what a irongut cost individually. However, because the Ogre Kingdom book lists the price of one Irongut and I listed the price of 3 Ironguts, Games Workshop intellectual property is only bent, not broken.

Besides, the point values he listed are wrong anyway... 3 bulls with ironfists don't cost 150.

on the list... what happened to your unique tyrant setup??? I actually sorta liked it... sword of striking/giantbreaker instead of the standard-izer may catch a few people off-guard, and since you have good fluff and a Slavegiant, you should get a lot of fun games. You will have a very hard time being competitive with a slavegiant, and rhinox riders aren't in the GW Grand Tournaments any more...

If you want to be competitive with rhinox, the second list is lacking in hammers. First, drop a bull unit and get an irongut unit. Second, drop the slavegiant and make your rhinox into bulls - then split them and let them run around the battle alone. Third, strip the bulls of everything (standard, bellower and Ironfists) and take away the Irongut Champion for some more points. Spend the points you got making all those changes for a third butcher and as many scrolls as you can afford, then as many ironguts as you can buy. You will have a list very much like the rest of us... but we do that because it works.

If you just want to have fun, decide on more fluff then build your army to match it. Take it to tournaments and have fun with them... don't expect to win and don't be disappointed when you get beat up. Just have fun and blame the dice... it works for me every time.
