how to represent Einherjar ?

hey,

I'm building one of my IG squad and I want to theme them as Einherjar in my norse ogre army, one bruiser will be with them (theme as a valkyrie, gonna use the new reaper model of monique 54mm they just released always liked the little one i Want to have the bigger one :p )

all my ogre have fur cloak armor pad and the like, but i want those Einherjar to be different,

Einherjar in  summary are the warrior from valhalla, soo I want to give them a style like they are coming back from the death/valhalla to help they brother, or they are making they final fight before they leave for valhalla dont know wich of those 2 to take,

and I really dont know how to theme them what to do to make them appear different than the rest of the army

I also wanted to give them all 2 handed sword

i think that axes would be more viking, einherjar use axes, sword and spears, if i'm correct

Very heavy armour covering up as much skin as possible, and glowing eyes.

yeah I could give them all chainmail and armor plating everywhere more than my normal IG,

as for helmet, I'm short on them...... soo they won't have helmet....

I like the glowing eye idea!, should I paint them as spirit or leave them like the skin tone of the rest of the army (for now i dont have a skin tone haven't started painting, i think they will be flesh, like human not grey)

On the armored side I think I will give each one of them a round shield :p, and they are not all have sword, 2 with sword, 1 with an axe and another one with a spear

Make your own helmuts with GS. Also when you paint them paint the flesh very light and give it a green and purple wash to make them look dead. Also paint the eyes white.

i think you should make their armor gold or at least bright bronz-ish

i intended to give them a horn as musician instead of the classic drum i give.

I want to give them a more angel look not like a undead one, soo I think i will paint their skin the same color maybe brighter, glowing eye and i like the shiny armor idea,

I dont want them to look like undead, I will give my valkyrie some wings (the pegasus one).

AoM (Age of Mythology) is a PC game that runs along the Age of Empires style of gameplay, in which Mythological gods and creatures aid u in ur battles. It's quite good.

I like the clouds idea, dont know how to do clouds but.... I also dont know how to represent them flying the valkyrie will have wings but I dont think it would fits for them to have wings too or fly,

i will to check that games altought i dont really play video games (dont have the time)

Edit: forget about led eye idea, too much trouble I will just check tutorial on object source lightning and try to paint them in blue,

Two ways to do clouds.
1. Cotton balls. Fluff em up then speay clear laquer on it. It should hold shape and you may have to do a few very light coats.
2. Use green stuff on a wire framework and paint to desired color. I think I will give the last one a try and see if I can get  some pics foryou.

ogres walking around in clounds, sounds very un ogre and vikingish... Valhal were the einhejrers are from does not float arund in the clouds, I think that's a more Christian perseption of heaven.

yeah I think I will keep them on foot, maybe put the valkyrie on cloud dunno,

as of now I'm giving them this:

2 with sword

1 with axe,

1 with spear,

all with armor (maybe some chainmail more, altought I dont like putting too much chain mail it kinda ruin the flesh, I'm not sure about chain mail but they will have winged helmet, and round shield plus the usual fur cloak, and big spiked shoulder,

I dont know If i should do some chainmail on them....

The clouds could also make use as simply mist..
