first piccy in the cauldron. a new lease of life.....

well folks im giving gw a break for a little bit, the only thing im working on right now is the remainder of my ogres (how could i not) the rest of my work in progress armies are being packed up and hidden away. why???
theres a new game in town for me....im totally and utterly hooked on confrontation. for those who dont know what it is its a fantasy skirmish game played with cards and miniatures. its set in a fastasy world called aarklash with lots of cool races (similar to gw races) the main thing that attracted me to it was the awesome models, and i mean truly awesome models. gw cant hold a candle to them. secondly warhammer is getting somewhat stale for me. 11 years of playing and painting there stuff, ive owned virtually every army at some stage and im struggling to find new stuff to do. so ive turned to rackhams gorgeous miniatures to brighten my horizens. by no means have i given up on GW. i shall still play every now and then and will proberly get the odd mini but all major projects are on hold for now. anyway heres my first of my samurai goblin horde. pics aint great but mine never are. enjoy

its a musician. i just wanted a basic guy to get my colour scheme worked out right on before i lunged into the really nice models. check out the dai bakemonos ogre models on the rackham store. would make excellent maneaters from cathay.

Confrontation does make great minis... hell, the French do great with minis. Unfortunately they are larger scale than warhammer, and expensive. Nice paint job on your goblin.

i didnt even realise our avatars had gone. tsk tsk tsk. with confrontation i wouldnt say there too expensive. about the same as GW but the models are of far better quality so a little extra im prepared to pay.
