One of my prize possessions is my copy of WD310 with the Gnoblar horde army list in.

This has made me wonder though, are there any other unofficial armies that appeared in a WD like the gnoblar army did?

I have a dream that one day Gnoblars will be judged on the content of their trinket bags and not by the size of their nose or ears. I have a dream!

Slayers have an army. I actually hunted that down for someone to get the rules for it. If I ever find the torrents for WD issues 220+ in masse then I'll be looking for them and any other rules for fantasy models.
