Best model for sabretusks

I don't think much of these models, have heard of wargs and fenrisian Wolves being subbed in but the latter in particular seem a bit small for the crunch.  I like the look of the thunderwolf cavalry (from 40k) but you can't buy these separately from the riders.  Have checked the past threads on this but they seem to be a bit outdated - does anyone have any suggestions?

Chaos hounds could work well as they have horns darting forward from their heads.

Fenrisian Wolves are certainly the easiest GW option: cheap (as far as GW goes), plastic, good sculpts.
The size seems about right to me, if anything I think their dynamic poses make them a little larger looking than the actual Sabretusk model.

They are slightly bigger than chaos warhounds, but slightly smaller than the LotR Wargs I think.

The fenrisian wolves are a great choice, alternatively you could get the warg models from The Hobbit. But I myself am a big fan of the boars from the ork and goblin boar boyz kit. Saberpigs are way cooler than cats with dental issues.

You can buy the goblin wolf riders or just the wolves ~ for relatively cheap. Admittingly they tend to look more like giant rats but its still an option.
