Stronghold Eternals - Thunder Follows Lightning...

It's looking like I'm going to try Kings of War, Age of Sigmar and Warthrone over the coming months, but for Age of Sigmar I think the game looks better on the tabletop with round bases, so in this blog I plan to put together a small force of Ogres/Ogors on said round bases to see me through a few games.

My 'Stronghold Eternals' will of course be inspired by the Stormcast Eternals, with their helmets and armour painted gold and primarily carrying large swords, hammers (I have the perfect hammer for the leader of this band of Ogres) and big ol' crossbows. Ogres with wings counting as Yhetees perhaps?

Let's see how it goes!

Well this is actually the most exciting thing I've heard about an upcoming project. It's nice to see someone willing to take the leap and make an interesting, themed army in the new setting!

That is a great idea!!! I can't wait to see these guys so please post some pics when you get the chance.

Maybe you can also name your ogres after members here on the Stronghold. Take those of us who are of a certain rank and name an ogre in your army that members name. For example, the leader should be named after you and you can name an Irongut Farmer7574 or one of your heroes/lords after the Stronghold Guard members.

It's just a thought but I have been thinking about doing this to my Ogre army. This community is such a great place that I feel some cameos are in order in my personal work at least.
