I have some rare earth magnets and I want to magentise the bases of my ogres. I was wondering which type of glue to use, ova or superglue or something else?

Superglue has always worked fine for me. Is this for movement trays? Just curious.

Yeah, will be putting them on the base of the ogres and then using metal/magnetic movement trays. How close to flush to the ground do the magnets need to be (under the tray) and if they need to go down further what do you use to get them closer to the ground?

To be honest, rare earth magnets are pretty strong so you can get away with a bit of a gap. I think the 2mm depth ones should sit quite flush on the bottom of the base to the metal surface, but I'd get a tape measure and check that to make sure.
It won't prevent them models from being knocked over with force or being picked up, but it should happily hold them in place while moving trays around.
Maybe glue one magnet to one model and test its strength on a metal object? So you have a rough idea.

I recently bought some 4x2mm rare earth magnets and they seem to attract strong enough to bond at a distance of around 3-4cm.
