Rules and questions

So since the rules discusion thread is gone, I thought we open a new topic here since theye are now 8th edition specific rules. Hope you dont mind.


And let me start of with a simple one, I'we made a long break in playing so im a but unsure of it now...

Canon balls that hit a ridden monster (like hunter on stonehorn) are randomized per the instructions in our army book right? (1-4 stonehorn. 5-6 rider). Right???

Unfortunately, nope.  Only the stonehorn does that.  Currently cannonballs are templates, and thus hit both rider and mount.

how's that? could you please reference me to do section of the brb couse i couldnt seem to find it?

If a thundertusk is next to elves with great weapons, do the elves strike last due to double ASL or at initiative due to no stacking?

Initiative order, I believe ASL and ASF cancel each other out. Which does mean they don't get to reroll those misses, which is pretty useful.

ASL and ASF only exist once on a unit, no matter how many instances of them occur from multiple sources. So, the TTusk's aura wouldn't technically matter in this scenario because the elves with GWs would already be cancelling themselves (unless they have special rules that state otherwise, which I believe HE Swordmasters do? But don't quote me on that one, I don't own 'em lol)

Cannonballs hit both rider and monster. Templates hit everything they touch, and riders share a base with their mount. In the cannon section it describes the shot as a straight line template. This is also why cannons give look out sir
