AoS cards

original thread ↗

Bretonnia have these home made some AoS cards which I thought was a great idea.

So I thought that a computer literate person with time on their hands could do the same for the Ogres?

My wish listing for the day lol :)
WC's Achievements  36/101 = 36% completed
Ogres  7:0:0 (New Book) vs. Dwarves, Empire, HE's, VC's, WE's, WoC, and Skaven.
2008 Nominated for: Achievements in Tactics & Strategy Ogre Stronghold
Those are beautiful. I know we have some graphics savvy folks here who can do this.

Lol, Bretonnia finally got its update.
Those do look beautiful.
When they come, they'll eat the fat ones first.

New Book record:16-1-2
I wouldn't mind having some of those. Shame I'm useless on a computer
Give me a day or two, I should be able to make a few. I'll upload them here as images instead of a .RAR file for ease of use and ease of printing.
That would be great! Using the cards will make the game go even faster.
I would love to have something like this for ogres. :)
Ogre Achievements, 29/101
Actually, before I begin the hard parts of layering, how would one like the cards?

The current layout is:

The Stat Wheel right next to a model's Picture.
Underneath that (in a box) is the model's statline.
Underneath that is a large box for rules and whatnot.

To save space, I have decided to leave out how big a Unit can be, and any unnescessary wording if the space became cramped.

Is this the preferred layout, or does anyone else have any ideas?
How big do you want the cards to be? The picture might take up a lot of space.

Thanks in advance for the time and effort m8!

I was looking at doing something like this, though unfortunately I no longer have time.

I figured that it might be best to make the cards double-sided.  The front would be standardised across all cards, showing the unit name, stat-block, fluff description and maybe a picture for quick reference.  Whilst the back would have all the options and special rules and such.

More annoying to print mind, I just think some units might have too much information to try and cram onto one side of a card (depending on size of course).

As you can see, this is a worded template, so if others want to do non-Ogre armies, most of the heavy lifting is done. You can even print them off right now, and fill in the blanks with pen.
I still have to do a monster card, as their wounds vary their attacks and whatnot, so if space is limited, I might do 2 cards.

I have added a "Points" section for players who intend to use points.
Type is basically:
Hero
Wizard
Unit
Monster
Here's the Tyrant card after about an hours editing.

Of course, you can always print the blank template and fill this in with pen/pencil/marker etc. You might be faster too, because I won't be able to make anymore past Friday.
Really nice work m8! Defenitly going to use these!
Awesome job man, i will use this template for sure and just use a pen to fill in.

Gnoblar for you!
