Hi all,

I played WHFB Ogres several years ago but the game just never really clicked for me for a variety of reasons (you can see my old posts here in my post history). Then I found Kings of War... I'm now an avid Ogre player in KoW, and even helped develop 2nd edition with Mantic. A lot of the improvements to the Ogre list in 2nd ed were written by yours truly  :D

Here's an article I wrote about my first Kings of War Ogre army that went on to win me several tournaments.

Hi and welcome to the Stronghold Daedleh. I think its great to have a member like you on here. Can't wait to see more of your KoW Ogres. It just might get me into KoW or at least buy some models from that range.

I just played my first 2 games and loved it. Consider me a KoW convert after 30 years of WFB. Good to see other KoW players posting.

I'm looking to try out the KoW ogres.

I do have some questions and you might be the one to answer them. Some of these might be because I'm looking at the beta excel sheet.

How do the crossbows work? The shooters profile seem to be missing a (n) value to make them work.

What do you use for leadbelchers? Are they "boomers"?

What would Mournfang qualify as? Warrior chariots?

Is there an equivalent unit type for sabretusks? What are Shield Breakers and Bezerkers and what would they qualify as?
