Age of Sigmar downloads are live!

Got the PDF

With vague knowledge of the new game, butchers are good, Ironfists cause wounds on successful saves of 6, still a lot to read

I love Greasus' ability!

Real life bribes ftw!
Today is the best day of my life
My favourite is the Night Goblin formation.
Re-rolls if you are wearing a hood or can win a staring contest with opponent.

I wonder if that will be tournament Comped
Skrag is still the best special character but Bragg improved alot

After downloading all 34Mb of stuff, I'm disappointed at how they've done things.
There is now no difference between Lords and Heroes (and some Heroes and "monsters"), and as for their "we've made Warscrolls for 400 units" bullshit; No, you've done about half of them, and put a substitution list at the back for the ones you couldn't be bothered doing.

Also very disappointed that they didn't include Braugh Slavelord. I had been looking at building my own, but I guess I'll just have to go with an End Times "Lore of Undeath" Butcher.
Some of the various stupid rules are funny, that I've found thus far:

The Night Goblin formation Mrdjmellor mentioned
Josef Bugman has a rule that works if you're holding a drink
Kraggi has an ability that works if you're younger than your opponent
Dwarven Thanes have an ability dependent on Beard Size
Kurt Helborg (Empire) has an ability dependent on mustache
Konrad von Carstein requires you talk to him
Wulfred the Wanderer lets you taunt your opponent
Skaven's Screaming bell result on a 13

That's cute. Terrible for competitiveness, but cute
I am actually really enjoying it. Without a points cost everything is suddenly good. I think we will see a lot more rule of cool and a lot more fluffy lists.

Also loving the Masque of Slaanesh rule.

If your dancing during the combat you get to re-roll to hit. If you can co-erse your opponent to dance as well you re-roll to wound.

I'm really really optimistic about it. Its got  me building a second army so I can take it to the gaming club and encourage others to play.
Bah! Tabletop RPG Podcasts
Looking at the rules, and how simple they are, I'm wondering if we're likely to see more homebrew rules for armies - people making their own special characters or units (Gnoblar armies, I'm looking at you) with their own special rules. With no points cost to balance things, you can just set down the 'statline', ask your opponent if they're cool with it, and off you go.

Not sure if that's a good thing or not though. Certainly an interesting thought.
What does Destruction keyword mean?? And why does Gorger and other units have "gut buster" keyword while not in gutbuster war tribe at end of wars roll compendium?

What does gutbuster mean? Ogre charge?
Destruction is the name of one of the four forces.
Ogre/Ogors, Orcs/Orruks and Goblins/Grots are the three that make it up.

I'm sure in time that the keywords will mean more.
The armies will probably have bonuses or how "pure" they are.
Similar to the tier system in Warmahordes.
So a full Ogre/Ogor force will have the most bonuses, then slightly less for adding the other Destruction units
I had a heck of a time finding the rules link earlier so maybe this will save someone a few minutes:
