The Aspiring Nurgle Ogres

I figured I should start a Gnoblog on my ogres that some day wish to be blessed by Nurgle.  I started collecting them about a year and a half ago, and have very slowly been building up my collection, as well as occasionally painting.

Currently, my collection includes:

12 Bulls w/ 1 command set
12 Iron Guts w/ 1 command set
8 Leadbelchers
4 Mournfang w/ a Musician and Banner
2 Sabertusks
1 Iron Blaster
2 Converted Maneaters w/ Braces of pisols
2 Models to be converted to SM and Butcher
1 Model to be converted to a BSB
1 Model to be converted to a Tyrant.
10 Ogre Bodies still waiting to be made into things

Of these, the Ironblaster and 11 of the Guts are painted, and the banner is almost done.  Same with the Bellower for the Bulls.

For those more experienced than I, I have a question.  I have already put together the models for my Characters, but their bodies are still the same size of a normal Ogre.  I did not have greenstuff when they were built, but now I do.  Any ideas on how to make them stand out compared to any other ogre?

As for greenstuffing, it depends on what characters. Butchers et al try sculpting an apron

I'd say things like bigger guts, or more elaborate gut plates are a good way to go. More skilled sculptors than myself would maybe even make the characters taller, but I feel the same effect can be achieved by just having some scenery increase the base size.

Where possible though, I like to use the various spare bits from the different kits, and just fill in any odd gaps or not-quite-right muscles with greenstuff.

Ugh...Finally got the Bellower for the Bulls and the IG standard bearer painted.  Need to find motivation to paint them.  A way of doing it fast would help.  Next up: Sabertusks.

Finally was able to get the sabretusks painted.  Only took going to someone's house who has good lighting.  Last pic is the sabretusk that protects all other ogres, laying down on the entrance to their lair.  Thus why my model case has tons of hair on it.
