Fresh Bull

Hey there,

I've just decided to register here to check out everyone's work and the Ogre community after picking up my first set of Ogres a month ago. The battalion and a few boxes of mournfang cavalry seemed like the place to start!

Unfortunately I haven't started on them yet but will probably do so whilst doing my skeleton & zombie heavy VC army.

I've been on and off the hobby for about 20 years and have mostly just been into undead, but have gotten into OnGs and OK recently.

Looking forward to checking out everyone's work and showing mine once it's under way!

Welcome to the stronghold! Glad you chose OK to have a stab at; they are great to paint and even more fun to convert due to their size!

Please feel free to start a Gnoblog so we can see your OK army (and any other armies you have, we are not pedantic here) as it takes form! We all love to see some great paint work.

Also, feel free to give us your feedback from any games you play with you OK army. We love a good Bat Rep (and even a bad one TBH!) and if there is anything you need help with then just ask and someone will jump in and help out!

Cheers for the kind welcome, I'll throw my OnG up for show, which has been keeping me busy for the past 16 months, and will start an OK one when I get to painting them.

I've still never put paint to and ogre yet and am looking forward to getting around to it, but think I should pick a theme to work with beforehand. I used to be a big fan of WoW and have drawn a lot of colour/landscape inspiration from there - I think Blizzard did amazing work on their zones and use of colours. Very eye-catching and vivid!
