Howdy all,
While I'm not sure what Warhammer will be in the next iteration, I'm hankering for some good news. I've been playing an aggressive BT Deamon list for a bit with moderate success and want something a bit different.
General-
SM, L4 Heavens, Earthing Rod, Gnoblar Thiefstone
BSB- HV, Warrior Bane, Talisman of Protection
Butcher- L1 Maw, Scroll of Shielding
Hunter- Harpoon Launcher, Dragonhelm, IF
Hunter- Harpoon Launcher, Dragonbane Gem, Ench Shield
10 Gnob- Trappers
10 Gnob- Trappers
6 Ironguts- FC, Standard of Disc
6 Ogres- FC, IF
4 Leadbelchers
4 Leadbelchers
5 Maneaters- Mus, Flaming Banner, BoP, HV, Poison, Stubborn
Sabertusk
Sabertusk
Iron Blaster
Gunline-y, but has some interesting tricks with the flanks due to the Hunterbows, though they can be deployed centrally if harmonic is rolled for a very strong shooting phase. I have to fiddle with deployment as it's a lot to keep in a bubble, but the Maneaters and Hunters both have a degree of independence. Thiefstone is a trick I don't see often, but I think fits well here as MR protection is nice on the guts and the potential to steal something from an uber-character and leave it open for shooting and heavens magic.
At 13.5, it'll generally start ahead or close to it and should be able to whittle down targets quickly, especially high price ones with the Hunter's D3 wound shots.
At least, that's the idea. Any commentary?
