characters that become isolated from units in combat

Hi all,

I Had a game last night and my unit if ironguts was wiped out in combat which left my slaughtermaster in combat with the enemy unitand my tyrant about an inch away from what was left of the combat when I removed my last irongut.

What happens here?

1. Tyrant is no longer in the combat and takes a panic test for ironguts being destroyed

2. Tyrant shuffles over back into the combat and SM and tyrant make a new unit and no panic as both still in combat.


I couldn't find anything in brb or faq that covers this. Faq mentions characters creating a new unit so it indicates that maybe the latter is true, but it doesn't mentions what happen if the unit is in combat. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance

If the tyrant  was part of the IG  unit then yes, and your opponent  would get points for the IG unit

Thanks for the reply, we played it correctly then, just was a bit unsure. Yeah he go points for IT and I got points for his white lions, wasa total massacre we both just had characters left at the end
