The idea:

2 tank characters in each unit of ironguts, try to get toghness buffs up on these units in all CC for +6toghness characters. Before CC the giant gets toghness for more survivability.

Giant and thundertusk going together to make use of ASL aura and not losing so mutch dmg if the giant starts yelling.

Leadbelchers clearing chaf.

Sabertusks doing their sabery thing.

Deployment:
from left to right:
[Giant] [Thundertusk] [Ironguts,T&B] [Ironguts S&Br] [Leadbelchers] [Sabertusk] [Sabertusk]

With ironblaster behind any hill or behind ironguts.
Ogre record:
Win: 15
Loss: 10
Draw: 5
Races played against: Ogre, Dwarves, WoC, Demons, High elves, Skaven, Beastmen, Brittonia, Orcs and Goblins, Empire.

Last match: Vs Empire, tabled 20-0 with thundertusk being the MvP, killing 11 halibearears first round and getting ASL aura of on knights and halibearers.
If the Tyrant and the Butcher are going together then why not put the Obsidian Lodestone on the Butcher and the Talisman of Preservation on the Tyrant? Makes sure the Tanky tyrant always has his ward save. The butcher can always hide in the back if he needs to without giving up attacks.
Bah! Tabletop RPG Podcasts
Its highly situational but u want butcher and sm in one so i can face them against enemy with poison attacks :-). But i might swap anyway to ensure the tyrants survival.

I agree with Sneggy on the characters situation. Also I feel that putting armor on a caster takes away from the spirit of the game. I know we can do but I just feel its wrong. Also I'd much rather give that Butcher/Slaughtermaster the Hellheart. A level 2 caster does not need the ToP put on him the point cost to what you are protecting isn't worth it. The only other thing I am not a fan of is the Giant. 200 point cannon fodder. Dies so fast and not getting much even if it does make it to combat. But that is just me. I just feel we have better use of 200 points than the Giant.
