Brawler Bash VIII - Snarkhunter's Legion of Fire

Brawler Bash VIII is historically the largest GT of the Mid-Atlantic Region (event details here --> http://www.wargamersusa.com/forumdisplay.php?fid=32).  It uses a Carnage Scoring system, in which W/L/D doesn't matter, all that counts are total victory points.  Additional victory points can be scored through scenarios and 1/2 points are awarded for units below 25%, characters below 50%, and/or units that are fleeing at the end of the game.  Legions of Chaos, Legions of Undead, and the Khaine End Times lists are allowed (with a few restrictions) and most special characters are allowed (see event details).

Since the focus this year seems to be on how these Legions perform, I decided to meet them in battle with my own:  the Legion of Fire.

You, sir, deserve the Incarnate of Fire. (no, not any character, just you Snarkhunter )

But, honestly, I actually like where this list is going. My guess is that you split up the characters equally between the two 9-blocks? Or are you just going to run an all-character unit of 6 bodies? (THAT would be entertaining lol)

What do you think will be your hardest match-up? You have plenty of anti-chaff via fireballs/flamebreath, but you don't have much chaff of your own. Since I've never played a Brawler's Bash before (being as I live in the Pacific NW lol), it's harder to give advice... Other than, take lotsa pictures and have tons of fun! Hopefully you'll be able to stick the MEs in some good spots to wipe out annoying characters

That is a great anti-meta list.  Most people won't have alot of answers to all those fire templates.  You will dominate 20mm base armies.  Joe shmoe brings his empire halberd/greatsword horde -- ogre BBQ please.

It should also keep your games short which will keep you fresh throughout the entire tournament.

It might also be noted that Brawler Bash is an odd tournament and giving up points to the enemy is fairly irrelevant. This gives Snark total freedom to sacrifice bellies to breathe without caring about the points they concede. It also makes chaff (slightly) less of an issue. The enemy is going to have to come get your points. Let them come! 8D6 S4 hits often offends.

The only catch is the firebellies have to be in the front rank to breathe and there's gonna be plenty of nasty stuff out there that can slice and dice firebellies. I actually would have liked to see an Thundertusk in there for that reason.
