Hi everyone!

I've been a WFB player, for the past 20y or so, and despite not being so active as I used to (life always getting in the way), I'm still keep quite interested in miniature conversions, painting, tactics and whatnot.
I'm a Blood Bowl fan (and player too), and Ogre "fineness tactics" and intense "playbook scheming" has been growing on me, to the point of seriously considering building a team to play in my league.
Therefore here I am, to look for conversion ideas, paint schemes, etc.
I suppose that's about it.

Cheers!

Welcome to the Stronghold

There are a few big blood bowl fans here, including myself. My username comes from the team name of my first ever blood bowl team, Dwarfs.

Seen you have been super enthusiastic with the Pet Gnoblars, great spirit

See you around the board
Samurai Ogres of Nippon

Hi and thanks for the welcome!

Warhammer was my gateway into wargamming (well, along with a few other GW jewls like Necromunda, BF Gothic, Gorkamorka, Blood Bowl...), but life seems to get busier every year, and since time doesn't seem to stretch accordingly (not on earth at least), the only game that keeps finding/fighting(?) it's way into the table top is Blood Bowl...
And what a fine excuse to roll some dice that is!

Er...

Well, I've assumed they were to award members for their lovely works (and sometimes efforts).
Besides Pet Gnoblars tend to die so fast, that we might as well give 'em while they still kick!
I suppose...
 ;)

Cheers,

Hi and welcome to the Stronghold!

Always good to have new faces around here.  If you haven't already get a Gnoblog on the go!so we can see your progress!

I always wanted to start a Blood Bowl team myself but simply never have the time.  Family etc.  If you decide to start a Team up I look forward to seeing it take shape.

Hope to chat soon.

Kind regards Zolas.

Hi and thank you for your welcome!

I've already started a Gnoblog.  :>)
If (real life) time allows, I intend to do what you mention, and show the progress of the team.
Right now I am dealing with all the choping and repositioning of the parts, both on the ogres and snots. Not a pretty sight!
After I am done with all the frankenstein-ish thing, I intend to have pics taken of the whole thing (including the green stuff "cover up"), and post them on the blog.

Right now all you'll find in the blog is a pic of an ogress I pledged to paint this month.
Apparently it's a small task to do, but I love the modelling part a lot more then the painting one, so it's gona be quite a challenge, to put one thing down and grab the other...
We'll see how it goes.

Cheers,
A.
