'Exodus of the Tyrants' Community driven ogres in End times

original thread ↗

With it looking less and less likely as to Ogres not being in End times. I thought it might be cool for us to make a community led Ogres end times story/campaign. We have a lot of talented people on this board and i think if we band together it is possible.

We could even make it so games ogre players play affect the outcome

I am just putting this idea out there to test the waters and see what people think

Samurai Ogres of Nippon

Ha, that'd be amusing.

"Exodus of the Tyrants" :D (since, apparently, they all abandon the Mountains of Mourn to go either to the Chaos Wastes or to follow Greasus to the Empire, and some off to other places unknown).

There can be two to three 3-game series that feature each of the major groups breaking off and going through the turmoils of the land. I'm picturing at least one of the games being a "Battle for the Pass" style with the Ogres trying to get across and some enemy army blocking them (Undead legions? Chaos legions?).

Also, the 3rd game of the Greasus-saga can be his chronicled death, and the ending of the Ogre tribes (since that's the vibe I'm getting from GW stuff) as they then get boxed up and "tamed" by desperate Imperial forces trying to get some extra fodder for the losing battle against Nagash and against Chaos. It could be like a 3-way battle, with the Ogres in a "last stand" position in the middle, with Empire forces attacking from one edge and Chaos on the other, with the winning team being that who kills Greasus in CC; Ogres "win" by keeping him alive or by protecting some objective/"watchtower" in the middle, but are outmatched and outgunned on both sides.

How's that for some good ideas? :D

Thats some very good ideas

Maybe we can do this as some sort of forum run narrative campaign with us relying on honesty of our members to document results with the majority of results determining if we win/lose the three games

So if Game 1 is Battle for the Pass

What should Game 2 be if we:
Won Game 1:
Lost Game 1:
Samurai Ogres of Nippon

Well, a Loss follow-up could be a Watchtower, with the "tower" being a building with some imprisoned tyrants/bruisers from the first game; and, if the Ogres can get into the tower at any point, they free the characters who join the army and begin to raise havoc.

A win follow-up could be a Dawn Attack style game, from after the Ogres escape the dark valley of the first scenario they get disoriented (or something) and stumble into another wave of enemy forces.
