All my ogres have their skin undercoated with blue, and then dry-brushed with flesh tones so that they keep the blue in the recesses around their muscles etc. Now when it comes to doing the skin on my firebelly, I can't decide how to paint him.
Do I keep with the blue recess theme that the rest of my ogres have? Or do I try and give him a fiery red or orange recess, kind of like the Balrog from LotR? The only problem with that option is that the rest of the Balrog is black and contrasts heavily with the fiery joints, whereas the skin on an ogre would blend in quite a lot to the red and it wouldn't look nearly as striking.
Opinions please dear Strongholders!
