End Times imitation Braugh Slavelord?

original thread ↗

Has anyone considered using an imitation Braugh Slavelord using the Lore of Undeath to build his slave forces with?

I figure that since the original Braugh wasn't a caster, that all you'd need is a Level 1 Butcher with the signature spell to create his slaves. If you wanted to you could make him a Level 2 for the extra spell.
The only issue then is making the Butcher into a bit of a fighter. I figure, if you're not using them else where, then Fencer's Blades could work at allowing him to actually hit with his few attacks, and help prevent him getting hit back. Or alternatively, give him protection with one of the magical armors and Ironfist, and a minor weapon to help with whatever he meets. I'd be inclined to go with the Armor of Fortune and Gold Sigil Sword, for a grand cost of 153points (or 188 for lvl2).

Thoughts?

An alternative is that you model the undead as gnoblars and make him the Gnoblar Horde Lord
I like the idea, raising in game terms just means acquiring in fluff terms
Samurai Ogres of Nippon

This is an amazing idea! You'd still need a LotGM butcher though. Might as well make him a Slaughtermaster geared towards fighting if you want to be efficient. There are some amazing conversion options here!
Could run as a Firebelly to get round the butcher tax
Samurai Ogres of Nippon

The only real problem with running him as a Firebelly is that he has no armour options.
But also, there just seems to be something a little odd about running a character with flaming attacks with a unit of flammable undead....

Well, they won't complain about the heat.
Ogres - because who honestly likes 2 wound heroes?
