Food, Wanderlust and Gnoblars -Leo's little tribe

(Sorry about images being upside down and whatnot, my computer reads them fine but then when they are uploaded they are sabotaged. Probably the ratmen's fault, should kill some to make sure it doesn't happen again).

Hi
This christmas a bearded fat man came to me, my new unnamed BSB. The ogre "pistols" are made from dwarf bits, mainly an organ gun but the ends are from miner picks. The banner head and lookout gnoblar are from the scraplauncher kit. The body is the spare ogre you get from the scraplauncher.

But I also got some Ogres as a christmas gift and thus my battalion was opened, the first thing to do gaining a battalion for Ogres and opening it was clearly to go to eBay and search for cheap gnoblars. Some have turned up from this but many I'm still waiting for, the coming head honcho (or one of them at least) of my gnoblar hordes is fixed however, Mugrodd the Strong, claimed to be able to lift an ogre. It is a normal pack globular with a fighter head but there are many extra details on him, many will recognize the lookout gnoblar and his crowsnest and the two barrels (filled with shiny trinkets obviously) added from the ogre bull pack. The Bretonnian shield from the Ironguts blocking a part of the crows nest could be missed however as could the hanging gnoblar in a sack at the back too could disappear for those less sharp sighted.
The second thing to do when you open the battalion is to start and assemble it. Noting the way Ogre kits are made I realized I could just make more ogres instead of the elite Ironguts (they are elites in fluff and should not be as numerous as the bulls). So I made myself twelve ogres, then I went out and bought six more for a nice horde of 18. These are the dreg of the tribe, they are poor, none save the standard bearer has a pet gnoblar with him and only the crusher has a forged blade, the rest settling for clubs, hammers and axes made in stone as well as their ironfists. Through hard work I made sure no ogre in the unit shares his head with another ogre.
But not all Ogres in my army are poor. I have four leadbelchers as well and I try to show that they are wealthier. Not only do they carry gunpowder weapons but they all have a pet gnoblar as well. These images are taken before the cleaning up of the models so they look a bit messy right now.
My gnoblars hadn't arrived yet but at least I got hold of a scraplauncher kit to sate my wish for a gnoblar horde temporarily. This one I made mostly by the book, I changed some of the gnoblars on it but other than that it is as it should. It's a really nice kit but I wonder how I shall make the next one so that it doesn't look to much like this one.

Are you from down under?

Because that will explain a lot, to you the pictures are the right way up
