Howdy

Hello there,
My names Neil and I have been playing warhammer for the past six years but have been in and out of the hobby for much longer. I have finally nearly finished (well kind of...) my vampires and decided to start a second army. After a great deal of time weighing up each armies tactical strengths and weaknesses, I optimed for an army which will never again result in me painting and ranking up 200+ models of bloody core.
So Ogres it is. Plus I like eating.

I'm starting a painting blog soon and I will no doubt need plenty of tactical advice so I will be begging for help soon. Cheers.

Welcome to the stronghold!  I hear you on the small model count front.  One of the reasons I chose Ogres myself.

Well it seems like you already have the right idea with starting your own Gnoblog!  I really look forward to seeing your progress.  Did you have a particular theme in mid at all?

Cheers, thanks for the welcome. I have been pouring over the book for the last week and am thinking of lore of beasts themed mainly combat/smash at all costs army. Probably not that competitive but should be fun. Painting wise I have only just started doing a few tests. Its the bases I'm struggling with, always liked snow themed bases but am tempered by the fact I don't like them on grass tabletops. Weird I know but that's just me.
